The postal fandom has a really big problem of putting people on pedestals. I don't know if this a symptom of being a "small" fandom or if it's just because I'm interacting in fandom spaces more, because Ive never seen this happening in the other fandoms Ive been "apart" of. It's actually so soo creepy to see it happening. It's almost parasocial dare I say
