“Get on the bed.”
There was no room for questions. It was a simple command – simply making you aroused right away.
Your weight dropped down on the cushions, your hands discarding your clothes, immediately knowing what to do just by the tone of his voice.
He followed right behind you. His steps steady and leisured.
“Do you want me to turn around or…?“ you asked shyly, gazing up at him, feeling excitement spread across your body at the sound of the metal clasp of his belt.
“No, no baby. You’re good just like that. Wanna see you tonight,” he murmured before leaning in between your legs, his hands squeezing the dough of your thighs. You took pleasure in seeing how the grasp left rosy marks over the delicate skin.
Your eyes flickered to his belt and holster, both landing on the floor with a careless thud filling the quiet room. A low breath escaped his throat as he freed himself from the straining material. The sight of his boxers falling down his firm thighs and revealing his reddened, glistening dick made you writhe with anticipation.
He chuckled. Shook his head at how stupid you looked. “Oh, you want that, huh?”
His tone alone made the damp circle on the weave of your panties ripple outward.
While his large frame loomed over you, he allowed you to have the joy of removing his beige t-shirt, relishing the way you preyed your fingers over every inch of skin you could reach, as if every inch of him needed appreciation.
You found yourself whimpering softly as soon as his fingers grazed the underside of your panties. All it took was a tease — it was enough to make your head spin.
“What are you whining for?” he whispered while curling his index finger underneath the thin material between your legs. “Sensitive today, hm?” he huffed with amusement, genuinely fascinated by how pliant you were as he slid his thumb over your swollen centre.
“Mhm,” you wheedled, hoisting up your hips in hope he would just shove his fingers inside your waiting hole.
“How’d you get so fucking wet?” he ridiculed, letting his ears delight in your whines once his big fingers pinched your pussy. “Guess there’s one thing you’re actually good for.”
He looked like he was reminiscing over what scene exactly to initiate tonight, accustomed to the freedom of certainty that you’d do anything he could ask of you, with the sickest kind of pleasure.
“You were walking around with your pussy dripping like this the whole evening? Have some shame,” scoffing, he grabbed you by the hips, lining himself up with your entrance.
There was no need for prolonging this any further, for once he grazed his cock over the shimmering gleam of your arousal, he did not feel like waiting any longer to feel your puffy walls hug around him.
A strangled cry bit into his ears the second he parted you with his achy, leaking tip. He did not hesitate before prying all the way in, convinced that you would swallow him whole not only with ease, but with great satisfaction.
It ached so good to feel him force his way inside you.
“There you go. No need to be a crybaby,” he hummed into your neck and squeezed your stomach, expecting you’d get yourself together even though he just pounded inside you with overwhelming force, not even bothering to let you adjust to the breathtaking stretch. “You were so fucking eager to take my cock just seconds ago, yeah? Weren’t you, bunny?”
“Yes!” Your eyes sealed shut as pulpy squelches filled the room, one louder than the next.
He rutted his hips in and out of your spongy walls with increasingly more gasps that simply made any rational thoughts dissolve from your dumbfounded little head.
You always were elated to hear his bliss, for it marked your purpose served. That was all that mattered to your heart, weeping with love and devotion; serving him.
He hitched your thighs around his waist, the angle allowing him to hit the right spot so deep inside you impeccably.
Your body shuddered as your orgasm overflowed you.
Bellamy didn’t stop. Didn’t seem to mind your overstimulated groans. He shushed them with kisses. They were sweet, so you gathered the taste rapaciously.
“God, you don’t even know what to do with yourself…” he smirked while his hands cosseted your full tummy. “What’d you do if I came inside you right now? Pee yourself from excitement?” he teased, pressing down on your bladder.
As much as ridiculous it was, the disgraceful assumption hit you just right. You moaned louder as you felt pressure building dangerously tight in your gut once again, but this time, more intensely.
And then, just a few thrusts later, the continued stimulation caused even more of your fluids to fountain forth.
“What the fuck—” he gasped in utter awe, looking down to witness the spilling wetness. “Oh, baby—“
Feeling you drench his throbbing cock turned out to be his undoing, making him cum with a characteristic, melodic groan.
The room turned idyllic. Your laboured breaths and sweaty bodies merged.
He scooped you up in his strong arms as the heat of his burning lips stung the crown of your head.
“You really are pathetic.”

Sometimes when Bellamy walked around your apartment in nothing but boxers, it took everything within your power to not drop to your knees before him in the most degradatory fashion.
Like that evening, as he was sprawled out on the couch beside you, absorbed by a book. A sight anything but abnormal, yet to you at the moment, so tremendously sexy.
The other side of the couch gave you a pretty swell view at him as you sat with your legs intertwined with his.
His broad chest rose up and down in the calmest pace.
His unruly hair curled against the cushions as his jaw clenched in concentration.
His biceps had absolutely no reason to be luring you with their presence as he held the paperback above his line of sight.
What was wrong with him? Who looks like that while reading a nearly-falling-apart-book on an old, worn-out sofa?
One of his knees was pulled in, while his sizable legs were spread wide apart, giving you a fair amount of space — and, additionally, being your undoing.
The plush of his large, muscular thighs and the heat radiating from them surrounded the bulge beneath the material of his black underwear. His upper legs were soft and bulging with muscles. In your judgement, good for one thing in particular — chewing on. Because plain skin to skin contact clearly wasn’t enough for a gluttonous woman like yourself.
It wouldn’t be the first time that aggression took a hold of your affections, nor would it be the last. He had grown used to the ‘risk’ that your teeth were — his neck, biceps or fingers had fallen victim to their passionate ministrations quite often.
With purpose, you repositioned yourself, resting your head upon his lap.
“‘Sup, baby? Want me to move over?” a low mumble rose from him, taken aback by your sudden squirming.
“No, no, don’t,” you whispered back, nuzzling into the newly occupied area of freckled skin.
A barely audible grunt resounded from him as he shifted, trying to make the desired position more snug for you, whatever it was you were doing down there.
You got real comfortable in the nest of his limbs.
Comfortable enough to just dip your face in the heat of his inner thigh and take a bite out of the softness.
Unexpectedly for him, you pulled a hiss from his throat, making his muscles flex as he dropped his gaze to the source of the gentle sting.
“What the—” he scoffed, adrift at the limina of your fangs. “The hell was that, baby?”
“Couldn’t help myself,” you apologetically licked over the skin marked with your love. “You just look…” A powdery kiss served as comma. “real nice. And you smell so good too…”
“And the only way to address that is to attempt to eat me alive?” he tilted his head and let his open book rest on his chest, deeply intrigued by your freakish train of thought. Freakish, yet so enthralling to him.
You giggled, looking up to him, affection hazing your pupils at the feeling of him petting your head. “Something like that,” your whisper faded as your cheek burrowed into his open palm; so wide and beckoning. You did not miss the opportunity to nib at his thumb and then let it stuff your cavity.
“I see,” he breathed, letting you have your fun — which, in reality, was just as much his own. “Well, in that case, have at me.”
A surge of joy filled your chest and pushed you onto his lap again, where you were most comfortable while gnawing and kneading at whatever piece of skin within your reach — making Bellamy’s evening reading oh, all the more satisfactory!
crossfaded somewhere between "there has to be more to life than this" and "every mundane thing is beautiful when you're with people you love"

𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭!
Ever since the green planet became home to you, you had been forced to grasp a handful of new skills, which just a few months ago would seem obscurely abstract.
It was a lot to take on, especially for a physically rather weak girl, who had to take a big leap into that new world all by herself.
You had known the bitter taste of independence long before you were even old enough to spell the word. With that being the cause of your stubborn, lonesome nature, you had a hard time accepting how little you could manage without reaching out for someone’s helpful hand.
Luckily enough, the hand you had grasped months ago in hope of learning how to skin freshly hunted meat belonged to Bellamy, who happened to be the one sitting across you when the knife slid across your own palm instead. And once you seized it… you never quite let go.
He made sure you sticked by his side ever since.
Bellamy was strong in every sense of the word and you were utterly fascinated by that. By him. His hands held the strength of a skilled man with ability to handle anything that could’ve gotten in his way and his deep voice laced with clout could sharply cut right through wild crowds.
Yet he was anything but edged when he’d lean down to your level and show you how to take a good aim with a patience of a saint when he took you hunting. When he’d explain to you anything you did not understand in a group conversation, his expression lacked any signs of his usual grumpiness.
Soon enough, you felt quite capable in the majority of the fields required to survive on this violent planet. Handling a gun, hunting, preparing meat, or even moving around the forest in the right, most tranquil way — he taught you all of it.
Yet despite it all, there still remained one elusive mastery that kept you from walking with your chin up. One thing, that every person around you seemed to had mastered with flowing ease.
Kissing.
People kissed every chance they got. Everywhere. With everyone. Sneaking around and making out became a crucial part of a daily routine for the majority of the freedom-starved teenagers.
Bellamy did it a lot. Too much for your taste. Every time a new girl amorously flew in and out of his tent with hearts for eyes and loud giggles taking place of any coherent sentences, your stomach squeezed in an awfully uncomfortable way, making your insides hurt.
Sometimes, you’d hear sounds of bliss seeping through the thin material of his tent when you passed by it under the cover of nightfall. Flooded with a nameless feeling of hollowness in your heart, you’d retreat back to the solitude of your own, cold bed. Sullen and abashed, you fiercely fought back every returning memory of the way his voice dripped with pleasure, the way his distant, laboured breaths sent a wave of heat to your core.
Why would his hands that felt like rays of sunshine to you, wrap around other girls’ bodies?
What was so bad about your own body that he had never desired to touch it with more intent than just a friendly one?
You couldn’t remain isolated from experiencing something so primal, something that seemed so essential to everyone else. You wanted to be let in on the big secret that the feeling of two mouths sharing one breath was.
In order to do that, you decided to do what you always did when you sought guidance — ask Bellamy.
He never denied you anything. That must have been why, when you insisted on paying him a visit later one night in the hope of learning more Earth skills, he was more than happy to be of service to his dear friend.
Just a few hours later, you found yourself sitting across from him. Ribbons of silver moonlight seeped through the holes in his tent, merging with the yellow hue of the lantern behind you when your throat worked with a heavy swallow after you barely uttered the question that actually brought you there, that now hung in the silent air for a good few seconds before pulling a huff out of Bellamy’s chest.
“Let me get this straight—” he narrowed his eyes and readjusted in his seat, convinced his ears must be betraying him. “You want me to teach you how to kiss as part of our ‘Earth skills training’?” those words came out backed up with a silent chuckle.
“Yes,” You looked stern and more ready than ever. You were nervously fidgeting at the rim of your sleeve, yes, but you were ready! “Just teach me how to do it. Like you taught me how to shoot. It can’t be harder than that.”
His eyes had a hard time deciding whether they should rest upon your gaze, or your lips, as his head tilted with a gleam of curiosity.
“Well, there’s quite a spectrum between shooting and kissing, don’t you think?” he couldn’t pass up the opportunity to tease and watch maroon splash your cheeks comically fast.
“Yeah. But I’m a fast learner.”
“Know you are, sweetheart,” he assured. “C’mere then. Can’t begin the lesson with you so far away.”
A shaky breath passed from your nose once your body settled so close to his that his distinctive, manly scent riddled your thoughts.
“Good. This we can work with,” he breathed.
Not a single move of his muscles beneath his worn-out, navy blue t-shirt went unnoticed by you. The heat of his much bigger body was endowing your own skin in no time, and it felt like the fieriness was getting to your head as well, leaving you dizzy with it.
It was awfully intimate to see him like this, so near that the small scar over his upper lip was all on display, the placement of it taunting you more than ever. The closeness betrayed the number of freckles splattered all over his face, making you regret to not have enough time to take on the challenge of counting them. You mentally noted it down as an activity for another time.
“Now, there actually is something similar to when you are holding a gun… hey, don’t laugh, I’m serious.”
“What is it?” you raised your eyebrows.
“Timing. You take good aim…” His thumb rubbed over the plush of your cheek and coaxed you into leaning forward, the merest touch unfurling the sweetest ache in your heart which was pounding like a hammer, trying to crush your ribcage. “And then, you have to feel the moment it’s right to pull the trigger.”
Bang.
His lips landed on yours.
Yet it wasn’t anything like the roughly fair comparison he made to the violent act of freeing a bullet.
The warmth of his light coral lips coated your mouth as haltingly as a whisper of the forest wind would. His palms radiated with calm as they turned to vices creeping up your waist, showing you how to move in harmony with the slow rhythm.
You sloppily attempted to return the…affection? Faux-affection? You weren’t sure what name to give to the way he touched you. What you were more than sure of though, was that you dreaded the moment of its evanescence.
A string of saliva followed his lips that drew a few inches away again, as his brown irises searched yours.
“Yeah, like so,” he husked and smiled at the sight of your lips, feverishly plump, and eyes opened wide and gave your arm a few reassuring rubs. “Now, I’ll go faster, and you try to answer to that. Like we’re communicating. Think you can catch up, sweetheart?”
“I can,” you nodded breathlessly, way more eagerly than needed.
You couldn’t have him thinking you couldn’t handle intensity. You would take anything he would be kind enough to offer you. Every word, every touch, no matter how insensitive or rough — you’d appreciate it equally as much.
With those thoughts driving you, you leaned into him.
His mouth swallowed yours with great precision. Your chest flowered with unfamiliar sensations when your ears filled with wet sounds your connection was making.
He had kissed plenty of girls before, yes, yet he had never enjoyed the taste of their lips even half as much as yours. You were the sweetest.
A strained whimper escaped your throat as he angled your jaw with his fingers, burning goosebumps into your stupidly responsive skin as his tongue began to slip into your cavity.
Judging by faint groans he suddenly let out and the way his lips curled upwards, you guessed he liked the odd sound.
Oh, how nice it was to hear him, how winsome to have felt his breath hit your face and know that the sound was meant for your ears only.
His tongue gently slid and circled against yours as his thumb traced over the rim of your lower lip.
You wanted to be bolder, seem fearless. So you arched your back with cupidity, gravitated forward and pushed your mouth against his with more urgency, not really knowing your way around but still taking the risk of it. Well, the soft clashing of your teeth quickly made you aware of the sloppiness of the movement.
Before your mind could shove shame down your throat for that, Bellamy’s chest rumbled with a chuckle, making you forget the embarrassment.
“You’re fine, ‘s alright,” he cackled lowly, barely making it in time before your lips shyly seeked him back.
He then clasped your wrist, guiding your hand upwards, since up until then, it just awkwardly rested on the sheets underneath you. A shiver sprinted up your spine as soon as your digits met his olive skin.
“Go ahead. Be brave, explore a bit,” he offered as his nose nudged against your own.
So, brave you were.
The softness of your touch painted with tingles his arms, his biceps.
You played with his hair, admiringly twirling the curls in your fingers. You had always wanted to know how it’d feel.
Curiosity seemed to be filling your whole body. It pooled in your lower stomach and made you tingle funnily. It drove your every move as you kept squirming closer and closer.
When you eventually broke the kiss to get a breather, you couldn’t help but wonder…
“Am I doing okay?” you whispered so quietly he barely caught it.
“You’re doing great, don’t worry. It takes practice, you’ll get better with time. Just like shooting, yeah?”
“Yeah. Like shooting,” you smiled back and for a moment battled yourself over whether to ask the question balancing on the tip of your tongue. “So we’ll practice more?” you hoped it didn’t sound too much like a plea.
“However often you need, sweetheart,” he said, recognising the undeniable beginning of something new. Something exciting.
Oh, there was so much left to learn. Good thing you had always been hungry for knowledge!
Hi, I love your writing so much and I'm so happy to find someone as obsessed with Bellamy as I am.
I was wondering if you could write something where the reader is used to Bellamy teaching her little things at camp, then one day she gets the courage to ask him to teach her how to kiss since she knows he's experienced. You decide if it will be cute or end up being smut, I know I'll like it either way.

The atrocity of loud honking resounded from right below your bedroom window for the third time already.
Clothes were scattered all over the wooden floor. Your phone, sunglasses and beer bottles were sat crammed inside your brown shoulder bag, after being thrown in it hastily just minutes ago. The first hints of a lovely sunset manifested themselves as an orange hue reflected in the mirror, in which you watched yourself frown in discontent.
“For God’s sake, please come out to him already!” pled your grandma from downstairs, fed up with the noise and your rushed bustling around the whole house.
“I know granny, I’m going!” you responded as politely as you could yell before storming towards your windowsill, unfortunately still not quite ready to leave. “Stop honking at me!” your head peeked outside while you were skimming into your little shorts. “It’s impolite!”
Outside waited Bellamy, impatiently tapping against the dashboard of his truck – a pearl-colored pickup, that, despite its age remained classy, a testament to how well it had been cared for.
“And making me wait for you this long isn’t?” he inquired with a smug expression you recognised all too well even from the distance.
“I’m sorry, I’m coming, alright?!” you grinned despite yourself after he successfully took a jab at you.
You yanked your bag over your shoulder, jumped into high boots and rushed down the stairs, mumbling out sincere apologies as you almost stepped on your grandparents’ oldest, funkiest cat who just happened to be taking a nap on one of the highest steps.
Seeing you finally step out of the house, Bellamy shook his head in disbelief. Ten goddamn minutes of waiting. He couldn’t wrap his head around how poorly you managed your time.
“I know, I know, and I’m sorry, okay?” you offered, turning to catch his gaze which was visibly bordering on discontent and amusement as he finally turned the keys in the ignition.
“Took your sweet time, didn’t you? Glad you made it before nightfall though.”
To his great mirth, your eyes rolled back with an exasperated sigh escaping you. Your unbridled hair kept falling over your face as you threw your head back for an even more dramatic effect. If any frustration at your delay had lingered within him, it had long since waned. But that didn’t at any way stop him from pulling your leg just a tiny bit.
“Alright, enough of that, I get it,” Your hands travelled to the radio like they always did at the beginning of every ride, taking indispensable charge over the music. Hearing the familiar tune of “Heartbeat City”, you turned the volume up. “But please, just tell me when we’re going!”
“I already told you yesterday. It’s a surprise.”
With each fleeting minute of the drive, you passed by less and less houses as the landscape only kept turning wilder and greener. Old, crooked trees formed a leafy hood over the car, leaves peeking into your open window. At one point, the small roadway got so bumpy that you began to question if he really knew where he was heading. And if so, could it really be worth the mud splashing all over the polished fenders?
“It’s really starting to look as if you want to cart me off-“ you stopped mid breath. Just when you began poking fun at the oddest trip he decided to bring you on, something in your mind clicked – as if a puzzle piece unexpectedly finding its place.
You knew where you were. Oh, you knew perfectly.
“Oh my God!” you almost jumped in your seat, watching him swirl the steering wheel and take an all too familiar sharp turn left, right by a large willow tree. “No way!”
“Recognize that road?” he asked, relishing the sights before him – the serene landscape and your face glowing with the most genuine joy. One dearer than the other.
The roar of the engine died down, leaving your vibrant chuckle as the only thing to be heard after your brown boots hit the damp soil of the lake’s shore.
Before you was the lake in whose waters you and Bellamy spent half your summers.
Surrounded by small cliffs whose height used to turn your little knees to jelly, scaring you away from jumping from their tops. Your lungs feasted on the freshest air you had the pleasure of inhaling in a long while. Tall trees seemed to hug the peaceful area all together, making it cozy with their deep greens.
The place surely had lost its popularity, for it wasn’t neatly cleaned of unruly branches and bushes all around. But it wasn’t left in a total mess, either; it looked just right. Wilder than ever, but right.
“Gosh, I can’t believe I haven’t realized when we’re going sooner,” you sighed, disappointed with your already hazy memory of the place you once couldn’t go without. “It’s even more beautiful than I remembered it.”
“Yeah, I thought you’d be onto it halfway through the drive,” he exclaimed, following your steps. But unlike you, who just stood by the shore in awe letting the eyes do the admiring, he was already shaking off his boots. “But you do remember how to swim, I suppose?” he teased, showing off his pearly whites.
“That I do, thank you very much.” You did not hesitate before discarding your own shoe wear, mirroring his smile which has always been sickly contagious.
Jumping out of your clothes, you looked up to see Bellamy, already shirtless who had just lowered down to his belt.
It was as if his every move pulled on a string that caused your eyes to follow. So they did, noticing how sunshine dripped over the expanse of his newly exposed olive skin like honey. With each blink, they found something new. Something absorbing. His freckle-graced muscles flexed when he tugged down his jeans and offered you even more skin to study about.
You had to shake the haze off when maroon shot straight up to your cheeks. Deciding to ignore the funny feeling lingering in your gut, you let your clothes flow down your limbs and watched how Bellamy already disappeared underwater with a loud splash just a few yards away.
Rising back to the surface, he shook his hair out and looked to you, his warm gaze contrasting with the frosty water you struggled to accommodate to, barely a knee in.
“C’mon, it’s not that cold,” he urged, wading your way.
A loud hiss slipped past your chattering teeth when the frigid encircled you from waist down. “Are you joking!? It’s freezing!” you laughed in his face, barging deeper.
Despite your obvious ability to stay afloat and not fear drowning, tremendous bodies of water never seemed to fill your mind with ease upon first encountering them. They were too unpredictable for your liking. So when the ground beneath your feet began fading away, you instinctively reached for his arm, which he made sure remained close enough in case you needed it for whatever reason.
“You just gotta move around and you’ll warm up in no time, trust me,” he reassured, already leading you into deeper waters. Holding your outstretched arms, his digits brushed over the constellations of goosebumps adorning them. “You good?” he made sure, just in case it somehow turned out that your memory regarding swimming was as terrible as your outdoor orientation. You nodded, so he let go.
You didn’t realize how awfully pleasant having him so close was until the warmth of his skin evaporated once you let go of him in order to sway your limbs freely. You moved your body as much as you could, fighting the cold, trying to settle into some kind of familiarity within the element you found yourself in.
In the corner of your eye, you took notice of how Bellamy’s silhouette started to get dangerously close again after a good while of keeping distance.
He must have missed the thrill of seeing you riled up, because the closer he got, the more his eyes were showing the blooming gleam of mischief behind them. A sight you learnt to recognize immediately, wanting to be alarmed before the possible damage was done. This time – sadly, you were too late.
A big, icy wave rose from underneath his arm, hitting your face, drenching any inch of you that was lucky enough not to have experienced the shivering cold yet.
“You asshole!” you cried out, spitting the water out of your mouth as his rich chuckle met your ears. “I was warming up at my own pace!”
“It looked like you needed help with it though,” he dared, circling around you.
“Oh, now you’re just asking for it,” Your face was emanating with hunger for retaliation.
His smirk grew wider, happy with how he earned the effect he was hoping for. What he did not expect to see though, was you throwing yourself over him with such great force!
“Oh shit–!” was all he could force from his throat as his body faltered when your arms circled around his neck with the clear intention of bringing him to his now-inevitable fall.
His long fingers dug tight into the skin of your stomach as your bodies merged, hitting the water with one loud slap.
Time truly froze for as long as the surface turned to a roof over your heads. His body fell beneath yours, still keeping you impossibly close as his back almost met the rough ground that seemed so far away barely seconds ago. Your legs were brushing up against his own. Your eyes found his despite the dozens of bubbles falling over your faces as you barely contained your laughter inside your lungs.
It seemed as if under some silent agreement you came to, neither of you wanted to be the first one to resurface. As if earnest to persist in the jaunty, childlike state the underwater world appeared to grant, even if for the shortest while.
The challenge most obviously didn’t last long as just a few heartbeats later all remaining breath escaped you.
Seeing you climbing your way towards air, his palm clasped around yours with a squeeze, his strength assisting you both in coming back up.
Water splattered everywhere, wind made a dance floor out of your drenched faces, sharp breaths tore from both of you with uncontrollable laughter lingering on their edges.
“You tryin’ to drown your oldest friend, now huh?” he started, running a hand over his curls.
“Not drown. Just tryin’ to teach a lesson.”
“And what might it be, bunny? I’m not quite sure if I got it…”
With those words, he ignited the battlefield again – initiating a series of awfully immature pushes, chasing and racing.
Your face muscles had grown sore, for they had been displaying the purest forms of enjoyment with no foreseen end. Your chest hadn’t felt this light in forever. Maybe because no one had gotten to touch the deepest parts of your closed-off heart besides the one and only freckled boy.
Soon enough, the boy in question made the blood rush faster in your veins, as he was making his way to the top of the highest cliff around.
“No, Bellamy, there’s no way!” your yell echoed.
“It’s really not that high!” he shouted back when he looked down to you from the highest point, his bare feet assessing the stability of the rocks underneath them with each step he took.
“Yeah, the water was supposed to be not that cold too!” you pointed out with a scoff, not really putting trust in his questionable judgement no more. “You know that some people’s bones literally break during such stunts?!”
“Relax, I’m not planning on crushing any, I promise!”
He thrived on the adrenaline rush. The excitement creeped inside his stomach as he took a good glance downwards, assessing the fall. True, the height could intimidate most with ease.
You sighed, shaking your head with both disbelief and admiration for his daring nature. Deep down, from start you knew all too well that once he set his mind to something, there was no talking him down. Burying the worry far away in your subconscious, you let excitement take its place as he took a few good steps backwards, bent his knees, and he was ready to sprint.
His strong legs took a big leap, and before you knew it, he unexpectedly did a backflip and jumped right into the air.
At his body’s collision with the waterline, you immediately broke out into a celebratory shout, giving the trick a much deserved round of applause. “Oh my God, that was fucking sick!”
After he quickly collected himself after the jump, you were by his side already, his arms encircling your waist in an outburst of energy.
“Oh, you’ve gotta try it too!” he tugged you by the arm, wanting to pull you to the shore. Wanting you to claim the achievement that had always seemed unconquerable to your childhood self.
“What!? No, no, Bellamy wait!“
“No time for waiting. Come on bunny, don’t tell me you’re scared,” he tried reverse psychology which embarrassingly enough, worked quite well on you.
“I just can’t help but think what if–“
“No thinking, alright? Not here, not now,” his voice, teeming with warmth had always been a balm to your anxieties. It was all thanks to it that your legs didn’t give out when you eventually stood by the edge of the sheer drop.
“See? Not so scary,” he didn’t give up on offering even the smallest amounts of reassurance since your pale face betrayed your great need for it.
“Shut up, I need to process this,” you shushed him, making him raise up his hands in surrender while you blankly stared beneath you. The moon was up in the sky already, the night making the beautiful landscape sink into darkness filled with unknown.
You took a good few seconds to yourself before giving a verdict. “Yeah, that’s it, I’m not doing this.”
“It’s gonna be fine, I’ll jump first and I’ll be down there to help you resurface when you hit the water.”
Your wide eyes looked up to him with uncertainty.
“No broken bones. Promise.”
One thing about Bellamy? He would sooner die than break a promise. So with that in mind, you had no other choice than to nod and take a deep breath. In and out. Accepting the fact that you really were partaking in this stupidity.
His jump was so fast, so effortless. This time he didn’t go for the backflip, just a normal leap, meant to strike up your confidence to do the same.
When his mane of black curls rose from beneath the surface, he flashed his teeth to you. “C’mon, I know you got this!”
“Can you count down, please?” you asked, needing a certain push.
“Three!”
The thought of jumping to him rather than into the arms of the abyss under you helped you quite a lot.
“Two!”
Simply put, you knew nothing bad could happen when he was around.
“One!”
Holding onto that thought, you jumped.
A loud yell of bravery escaped you right before air was smashed out of your lungs.
Time did not exist. Only water around you did, and only the air you were missing – chasing after it when you resurfaced.
Your laughs melded into one when his arms wrapped around you.
“Sick, huh?” You didn’t even notice how that happened, but you were chest to chest now.
“Fucking sick! Can we go again?”
“Yeah, we can.” His chuckle sent heat down your neck. You were still getting your breath back. Your hair was messed up, sticking all over your face. His hands were the kindest thing around, so when he stroked your locks away from your eyes, you instinctively leaned closer, letting him.
The water kept playfully hitting your sides, as if telling you to move. Yet neither of you did.
Your eyes didn’t pay attention to anything other than his dark irises, which seemed to bathe you in their warmth, covering more and more of your shivering body.
You kept holding onto him, getting more and more pulled into the spell his embrace was.
You couldn’t let yourself fall prey to that. It felt weird in your stomach, and in your chest, and in your heart. It couldn’t be any good, for it felt too odd. Too nice.
“So? Let’s go,” you urged, tugging on his forearm and leading the way up, ruining the charm.
At that, his jaw clenched and his eyebrows met together, as he actually had to shook his head in order to snap out of the eerie feeling he got lost in. There was no time to dwell on it now though, was there?
The melodies of the crickets were the only thing to hear when you wrapped up your night, collecting clothes scattered across the dirt of the shore, empty beer bottles and smacking away the mosquitos attacking each other’s bodies.
You got into the car in a blanket, which Bellamy neatly wrapped you up with after taking it out from the backseat.
Your head soon fell against the headrest, and lulled by the quiet hum of the radio and the physical strain of the evening, you fell asleep.
Affection washed over Bellamy at the sight of his usually awfully talkative passenger knocked out. After fixing the blanket slipping down your shoulder, he spent the whole drive back with a smile plastered over his face.

“I know granny, I’m coming!” you responded as politely as you could yell before storming towards your windowsill, unfortunately still not quite ready to leave.
