Been at a really awful seminar these couple days and doodle my little gay scrimblos. Feels like I might be coming out of my slump. Nice :)

it's been a while! I've been going through some stuff and this piece just kinda got caught in the crossfire. At this point I just wanted to get it over with and move onto something else :') At last it's done!

Man, this may seem silly, but I have NEVER been able to draw my own sona from a front angle *right*. Today was the first time, as a random doodle on the side of another piece. Look at him. By gods. He's my boy.

It feels more and more like I'm coming to my own style. Like I have direction and prowess in doing the things I want to do. It's surreal.

this piece turned out as a kind of lab rat for me to try rendering with a brush again. it turned out, okay, i think. argh.

One of my OCs! He is my "I want to draw a BIG dude." outlet. He originates from the same setting as my sona, but also like my sona, this version of him is a lot chiller because he's from a slice-of-life urban setting. He's got funny uncle vibes. I like him

The other image is an attempt at a pose I wanted to do for a while, but frankly it came out kinda bleh. I lost steam halfway because I think I just don't f with the angle all that much and just left it as is with some basic shading and sketch lines.
