When you think of a happy place, where is it?

Curled in a bunch of cushions with a good book, windows open during a light spring rain, and Ezra nearby doing his thing.

What is your favourite type of antique to work on?

I have a soft spot for manuscripts or journals. I'm not typically hired for that kind of restoration so I don't get to work on them often, but I think I feel most connected to the subject.

Why did it take you so long to notice Ezra?

It's not that I didn't notice him. I loved Ezra (still very much do). He was (and still very much is) my best friend. He's the person I'm most comfortable around and he's never made me feel like I'm too much... Or too little.

I knew all of that to be true, even then. But I didn't have the best track record with men and what I had with Ezra was safe... It was good. I didn't want to lose him; my safe space. My feelings were jumbled in that and I'd convinced myself of a lot of things that I knew deep down weren't true.

I was scared. It's the answer to most of the dumb shit I did, okay?

We got here eventually.
