We have: Maxwell canonically counting a chaste little smooch (to his own hand!) as making out + knuckledusters made out of Torse's golden heart.

I propose: Maxwell either kissing them for good luck before he punches someone dead or after he punches someone dead (now with blood!) to celebrate his victory. Both if we're feeling brave.

his brass knuckles are made of torse’s mangled golden heart. he chose a weapon specifically to mirror torse. and made it out of his heart. and the joke he made about them to torse was the first time torse has ever laughed. i have nothing to say i’m just sick to my stomach.
