i can’t say i’ve watched that show but congratulations for getting to work on the remake, that’s really fascinating! tell me, could you meet any of the original cast? i think that’s the one thing i’d want to do more if i were to be in a remake of a show. in fact, that’s the only requisite i’d ask for. that is a rather interesting question. i loved gilmore girls and skins, if they ever work on a remake of any of these i’d love to be in it. one of them i loved it when i was like eight or so, but then skins was literally the show of my first teenage years. it’s so nice to meet you, selene. i’m millie.
thank you so much! it’s just the cherry on top with how well me and the cast get along too. i haven’t met the complete argentinian cast from the original, only about two members, but i have met the whole cast from the version before ours. i may have combusted for just a moment, only a little. on other words, i agree one hundred percent. i haven’t seen gilmore girls, but i’ve definitely heard of it - funny enough, i did see skins, so i already know that your taste is impeccable. nice to meet you too, millie! big fan.
donkeykongblonde:
I never heard of it but I’ll watch the remake for you. I love how that all ame full circle for you. I’m not an actress or anything but I always fancied myself in the Rose but with a happier ending. I cry ever ytime I watch that movie. Nice to met you. I’m Renee.
thank you so much, i hope you enjoy it when you see it. if you love music, it has a lot of it - the whole cast is so talented. the rose? i’ve never seen that film, but it sounds interesting. what’s it about? i’m intrigued. it’s nice to meet you too, renee!
flossiewelchrp:
I haven’t heard or watched that program before. Congratulations on your success! Hi Selene, I am Flo.
it’s just a little netflix show. thank you so much! it’s been so surreal, i’m just basking in it for the moment. hi there, flo! so nice to meet you.
hf-sarahhyland:
Important question though. Did you also watch Rebelde way which is the show Rebelde was based on? Because if you haven’t you should totally watch it because it’s also amazing. And that is definitely crazy! It’s like coming full circle right? Nice to meet you, I’m Sarah.Â
i actually have! it look me a little while because i didn’t know it as a kid, but once i found out about it i deep-dived right in! it was so good and just makes it that much more amazing to be in this current version. also nerve-wracking as hell to try to live up to the name, but i think we’re doing retty good at it. so nice to meet you, sarah! i gotta say, i’ve been obsessed with love island, especially since i used to watch the one from the uk - and the phone game? god, it had me rolling.
nniall:
There’s absolutely no bone in my body that could even relate to an acting one, I’ll be the first to admit. That’s what made me so nervous before every music video for a long time, so I don’t exactly have an answer for you on a move or tv show spectrum, but.. it gives off the same vibes as listening to a music artist as a kid and then getting to meet and - or perform with them decades later, that’s certainly mind melting in the best way.Â
i could see why, i just had a hyperactive imagination on me, still do. i mean, i’d, in theory, love to play leelo from ‘the fifth element’ but unfortunately, i am no milla jovovich. we can always switch it up, have you had that type of moment yet? i bet you have, there wasn’t one moment i didn’t here about one direction a couple of years ago and some of the stuff you’ve put out isreally good, big fan. oh - it for sure is, i got to meet some of the previous versions cast members which was i genuinely had to keep myself from not have a complete and total mental breakdown, only stutter about fifty times, no big deal.

mel: Right Like he should have been born in space and his baby walker should hover and he had a robot nanny
mel: it's hard for a kid for sure. they dont understand it, and it's so much for them!
mel: come to supergirl training school lol XD its fun!
lizeth: it would be nice if he sent some of his high tech possessions in the mean time and not hog them up, i /bet/ he has a teleportation device.
lizeth: hard for both parties, i still give you your props. i get stressed out and i'm there alone. it's me, i'm stressing myself out. 😂
lizeth: do we get a cute little degree and our own supergirl outfit? because sign me UP. probably the least capable of them all, but i can proudly say... i try.
knightsawsten:
i don’t think i can ever be on any of the shows i watched growing up and i’m at piece with it but also, i’m not really in the acting business currently so til then, not sure so i’ll get back to you on this lovely topic later alright? for now, congrats on your dreams coming true and your show, i’m awsten and i’m living my own dream of music. i listened as a kid, tried since high school to make a band work out and finally got it at like nineteen with a lovely band called waterparks and you should consider checking us out. thank you and also you’re welcome in advance.
was it the shows themselves or the fact that you’re not in the acting biz? fair enough either way, and thank you so much, it’s been surreal. it’s kind of nice too because i love making music and music’s a big part of it, so i shot two birds with one stone there. really nice to meet you, awsten, now it’s time for me to say congrats to you. i’d tell that ‘d go and listen to your music if i didn’t have to pull the uno reverse card of already listening to it, actually learned a few of waterparks songs on guitar and have been big on appreciating your music since someone introduced to your song ‘stupid for you’, so i’ll just listen to it more.
i remember when i was a little girl, i used to watch the tv show ‘rebelde’ all the time in my little cul-de-sac in mexico. it wasn’t specifically when it came out because i was, well, five years old and perfectly content with cartoons, but i got really into it around the age of seven and there started my obsession. fast forward to 2022 and now i’m starring in a remake of it on netflix - isn’t that kind of insane? really manifested that one for myself. i gotta ask, is there any old tv show or movie that you would have loved to have taken over the ropes if there was a remake for it? tell me about your pipe dreams, i’m all ears. while we’re getting personal, might as well introduce myself, my name’s selene.

mel: I mean It was just George Jetsons birthday so that should have been a sign that it was time get the future he lived in.
mel: it's just so much work to do, so much so many people so stressful! I had Theo with me too and made it the worst!
mel: I mean I have the training already xD
lizeth: and i bet you that george jetson is quaking in his crib as we speak, he did not ask born into a world where he can't have his 3d food printer yet. (!!!)
lizeth: oh no, not the little one too. i bet he wasn't having it, and at this point, i couldn't even blame him! are you heading off to home or somewhere else!?
lizeth: plsssss, spare some of your flying expertise with me! i'll help you carry your bags next time you need to take off. 😂

mel: why have they not made teleportation yet?
mel: because I am not fan of having to get around to the airport and all the hassle to it with how long it takes.
mel: I wish we could teleport or I could fly like Supergirl lol
lizeth: same, it's 2022 - back to the future told me there was going to be flying cars and wholeheartedly believed it
lizeth: i agree though, flying is pretty overwhelming for me so i avoid it as much as i can - which kind of backfires on me because i love visiting different places
lizeth: maybe we just need to jump into a vat of acid or get tested on by some scientists to fly. throwing out some ideas 😂

i made a promise to myself this year that i was going to work on getting over some of my fears and it’s going horribly. first fear i tried to conquer? june bugs. tried to peacefully co-exist with one while outside and i failed. that thing flew into my hair and had me crying in ten seconds. second fear? going into my garage at night. this is more so me being a paranoid freak, but still haven’t been able to bring myself to do it. whatever i need can wait until the morning. third fear? water slides. i can’t shake the feeling that i’m going to get stuck in them. plus, has anyone seen that movie ‘aquaslash’? because no thank you. the list is pretty long and all kinds of stupid so this is where i shut my mouth about it. anyone else got some irrational fears they want to share? because i’m all ears. no judgement. maybe. / @hfrpstarters
i kind of want to do a brief review of everything to point out that you are in the right. first, june bugs? just looked them up and if i ever saw one in my apartment, i’d burn it down so in theory you definitely handled that better than me. anything at night is ten times more horrifying for me without another person probably because i’ve seen way too many home invasion movies. i aso almost drowned after going down a water slide, but i’m willing to admit that it is my fault and my inability to swim well. in conclusion, you’re doing great and don’t let anyone tell you different. i guess as you could tell, water slides are definitely one - roller coasters too, actually, too much ‘final destination’. cockroaches definitely, doesn’t help that we have flying ones over in mexico and one landed on my back which sent me down a spiral. last but not least, breaking a bone but i should actually try not to get over that last fear.

Alright, ya’ll, I need to hear some confessions - who was your first celebrity crush? I’m dating myself here, but I had enough Rick Springfield posters floating around to furnish a small museum. My best friend and I used to take some to the beach with us and of course I’d put them up over my bed. When he played in North Carolina, I even lied to my boyfriend at the time and snuck off to his show - and then we may have driven around and stalked him a little bit. As one does! I know I can’t be the only one with a very passionate, serious lifelong love like this - let’s hear ‘em.       @hfrpstarters
now that’s a deep-dive, my celebrity crush? i would probably have to say shakira specifically when she released some of first albums, she definitely delved more into rock albums at the beginning of her career. i think part of it was admiration, but i definitely had a crush. i would actually beg my mom to let me see her live, but i was never quite old enough nor did i have the money to see her. my redemption arc didn’t start until i got a job... and eventually snuck out to see one her concerts in mexico, definitely worth it. i, for one, appreciate your dedication, you did what you had to - and it sounds like you had fun in the meanwhile, you got my support.

I was starting to feel like Spotify just knew my moods before I even knew what my moods were but lately I’m not even sure what it’s trying to tell me I’m feeling like. I’ve now just accumulated one masterlist of a playlist and throw it on shuffle and whatever song it lands on is the mood that I’m feeling for the day and it’s been - interesting. So far I’ve gotten hit with ‘GIRLS’ by the 1975, ‘Any Man of Mine’ by Shania Twain, 'Island In the Sun’ by Wheezer, and 'No Diggity’ by Blackstreet and I’m just confused on what my mood should be. And now that I’m looking at it, the dysfunction in this playlist is all too real - holy shit. I’m curious, does anyone else have a confusing music taste or is it just me? If you do, shuffle that up and let me know what three songs you get because I need to know if we are musically compatible. It’s a test, let’s see if you can pass. / @hfrpstarters
man, spotify is just trying to keep up with whatever mess my liked songs have displayed time and time again. there’s was a time in my life where youtube was my everything and i’d just wake up to whatever the related videos were of the songs i was listening to. i’m not sure if you’ve ever done that but it will take you to artists you have never heard of... well, eventually. honestly, the only other song i haven’t heard from that bunch is shania’s - maybe your mood is just good music because i love everything else, which is telling me that maybe i should actually listen to more of shania, i’ve only heard a song or two by her, i should say i like a little chaos in someone’s music taste, it just means you might just find a new song to obsess over. now to expose myself, let’s see - i have ‘boyish’ by japanese breakfast, ‘how did you get so good?’ by d’lourdes and ‘siempre me quedara’ by bebe. don’t go easy on me now.
