Gas pain after vsg!
Where was my warning!? โ ๏ธ omg. This is the realist thing happening right now. They gave me pain pills and in the back of my mind I'm like "for what!?" They're not going to help with these stabbing gas pains. I barely slept at all last night and I'm approaching day 3 post op... I am wondering how much longer these will last for. ๐ฉ

Tumblr makes me feel like an elderly woman trying to figure out โthe internets..โ Hopefully I will get the hang of it.
Basically, I want my account to be aimed around my journey through my weight loss and the start of my esthetician schooling/career. I will be getting VSG this year, tentatively March 3rd. After my next appointment on the 14th, they will be submitting to my insurance. Iโm nervous, excited - and ready for a change.
My highest weight was 319lbs - I am currently at 290.3lbs - I never imagined I would have allowed myself to get to this point in my life. There is no one to blame but my myself, and no one to fix it but me. Iโve been very dedicated to adapting to better eating habits and working out 4-5 x a week. Iโm hoping that by keeping this blog and sharing my journey with others - it will help me by keeping myself accountable.
As for schooling ! - I was hoping to start in March but I am thinking with recovery - starting March 14th will not be ideal.. so unfortunately I will have to wait until July. Although, itโs only 1 night a week, and 1 Saturday a month(18 weeks in total) So I will be talking to the surgeon to find out more.
