finished my last posing class today, starting water loading and depletion workouts tomorrow. Here's where the magic happens since I've stuck to the plan :)
Upcoming week plans
I'm taking peak week off from work so I can keep stress levels down as well as spend time organizing the house so my life isn't chaos post show. As well as taking time to reflect over how I've grown this last 6 months. I also want to spend time in prayer and in gratitude from this process and just make sure to give what ever happens over to the LORD I want to compete with my heart right and my head on straight! Give it to God!

Last heavy leg done!! Just got depletion on legs on Sunday šyesssss
Well damn! Physique update!
Just weighed myself today... I weigh 116... I'm down 3 more pounds from last week which is nuts.. I've technically hit my stage weight but who knows I might get even further below it, I have 1 more week of cutting as well as eliminating water and salt. Boom baby! Keep PUSHING
The final count down!! In the single digits baby... Need to grind!!!! šŖ
Week #24 journal #24: light at the end
Sitting here at 2 weeks out I just want to reflect on my journey so far and talk about future plans⦠I remember the night I decided I wanted to compete, it was November 12th 2015 I believe and I decided BOOM I am going to hit this seemingly unattainable goal in my mind. Iāve always like to tell myself ādoes it seem impossible? Yes! Well then try it and find out!ā Lol. I love hard work. I love fitness. I was ready for a goal with a DEADLINE that I could not change. I picked my show, I found a incredible coach and I started my journey officially December 5th 2015. I remember eating that first meal and thinking āwell shit, this is going to be friggin hardā the meal was 5cold egg whites 1 yolk and 2 cups of green beans and a cup of oats (truth be told, Iād kill for that food nowš didnāt know I had it so good). I started the typical bro science diet/clean eating 6 meals a day. I remember it was so much volume and fiber and water then I was used to I had to sleep with a heating pad on my tummy for a couple weeks straight I be hurting so bad at night. But I fought through it and it got easier. The workouts were hard even from the start, I was in the gym 3 hours a day with 1 rest day. As my lifting volume has decrease my cardio has increased. I remember how badly I just wanted to start cutting.. I was so tired of eating so much all the time and so was my hubby. I remember once he said āI just want to spend time with you but your either eating or peeing so I canāt!!ā Lol that was so true. It took me a while to get used to drinking a gallon a day Iād say probably a full 3-4 months until I got that. I typically have to get up to pee 2-6X per night with all that water. I finally started carb cycling at 11 weeks out from my show, as the weeks go on my cardio increased and my carbs decreased.. Iāve been losing about 1.5-2 pounds per week with that. At around 7 weeks out I accidentally started doing WAY WAY too much cardio(I have a separate journal about all that) that was not my shining moment on this journey lol! Then at 4 weeks out I started no carb days in my carb cycle and that has been ruff over the last couple weeks but this has been where I have seen the most progress in my body. This whole prep Iāve had SO many people doubt me, doubt that Iām cutting correctly, doubt that I can get lean enough, doubt that I have enough muscle, doubt that I have proper coaching, doubt that Iāll make it!! Iāve done everything in my power to block out the DOUBTERS⦠Thatās what I have instead of haters (although I do have a couple of those) I have trusted my vision and drive this whole time. I know the strength and grit I personally have inside. I can say with 100 percent certainty that I have no doubts or regrets in the WORK that I have put in. I have worked and focus every second of every day for almost 6 months for this goal! These next two weeks will test me but⦠If it seems impossible you better bet Iām going to run at it full force!! I am going to rock these next two weeks as best as I can and give it my ALL, NO REGRETS, NO BULL excuses!! My plansā¦. I can say already that I will be a one time competitor.. I love hard work and goals like Iāve said but it doesnāt fit my lifestyle. I care so much more about my health and my athletic performance then just about esthetics. š this process has made my body look friggin amazing and I am beyond excited to get some photo documentation of this hot body but as for me I cannot CANNOT wait to gain some weight and feel normal again. This has made me more mentally strong then I thought possible but I want to feel physically strong too Which is why as soon as show is done Iām going back to Olympic style lifting ššŖšāŗļøšand I am so excited to get strong. The other great thing is my cardio is currently better then ever so I am looking at hitting the mountains hard this summer and taking full advantage of that. I want to hit new PRs on ALL Olympic and powerlifting movements is where I got my eyes set on next! Which means Iāll be eating again folks! Hallelujah for that. Main reason I wonāt stage compete again in bodybuilding is becauseā¦.itās NOT healthy yaāll You lose your period, your hair thins and stops growing, you feel tired all the time, you donāt heal as fast, your rude, your Lobito sucks, your nails donāt grow, your hormones are out of whack, you learn to view food differently (not in a good way), you miss out on time with family and friends, you canāt enjoy holidays, your self centeredā¦. And all just to LOOK a certain way :P so yeah no, I will be putting my work ethic toward other goals from here on out BUT I KNOW if I had not competed I would have always wondered what ifā¦. And I will leave no goal unachieved.
No more cheats
Just lots of tilapia and asparagus lol

My hair extensions are in my hot little hands! Can't wait to wear them tomorrow to posing ;)
