Sif sighed and leant against the window in her apartment. It wasn't that she didn't like Midgard, it was more that she missed her home. Still nothing was going to change for a while. That's when the banging on her door started. To begin with she ignored it but after a while it got irritating. Sighing she went over and opened it, "Thor?"

“Actually that was simply a lucky guess. It is how I used to get information from Fandral when I first met him”. She froze in surprise at that. She’d always assumed that no one would have feelings for her because of who she was. Actually there was someone once, this could be a consequence of that and the Allfather’s magic. “How young were we? It could be the Allfather’s magic changed your memories at that time”.
“Fandral.” He hissed his name before shaking his head, and wanting to hide knowing that she didn’t believe him. Loki almost wanted to just run off due to hearing Allfather. He wanted to vomit just hearing his name. Disgusting, was all Loki could think. ”It was when we were younger of course.. But it did follow me to these years now..”
“He is a friend, nothing more” she wasn’t entirely sure why she felt the need to define it but she did. So it wasn’t due to the Allfather and his damn trick. “Now? Why did you never tell me before?” She knew she was focusing on the wrong thing here but she needed to clear her mind.
“I would hope so.” He sighed, not willingly want to talk about his crush, but obliged anyways. “As I’ve said before, I thought you hated me, why would I tell you I see us being more than friends anyways?” It came out blunter than expected. He smiled weakly.
She wasn't sure what to say to that. She and Fandral were close but never in that way. "I am sorry" she knew her voice cracked a little as she spoke. She wanted to tell him that the feeling was mutual but she was scared. Scared he was tricking her, scared he wouldn't believe her, and scared that her brother was watching.
“I will speak with him when the time comes, but until Asgard is in danger there is little point” not that she wanted Asgard to be in danger. She just didn’t want to argue with the thunder god, she’d never win.
Sif shrugged a little at that, “they get abused already. Other realms try to recreate them, but all magic is different and I doubt elvin magic can be reproduced” of course there was another realm of elves, but she doubted they would even try… would they?
“Not that I am aware of. The chitauri was the first case I have heard of any where attacking from outside of Yggdrasill. Thor explained that?”she imagined he would, and a lot better then she ever could.
That somehow made sense, though she still wondered why Sif didn’t want to speak to Thor who was her friend and then a though hit Natasha and she decided to voice it aloud, “You don’t agree with his decisions or choices do you?” She watched the Asgardian woman carefully, studying her features curious to see how she would react to that or what she would say in response.
“That’s why we can’t have nice things.” The Assassin shook her head, people had to take nice things for granted and over use and abuse them. It was annoying and one of the things that bothered her. She did her best to not overkill with things, to be respectful of what she did have and not go out of her way to acquire things she didn’t.
Well that was comforting to know… sort of, “Yeah he did. But we all wonder if there are others out there and for that matter more Chitauri.” Plus other things, such as who really lead them, who put Loki in charge of them because a lot of them Natasha and Thor included didn’t quite believe that Loki had done all of that he had on his own.
She gave a small sigh, "partly. The only reason your realm was attacked before was because you had the tesseract, and I suppose because Loki wanted to take the realm Thor loves. However Asgard will always be being targeted by Jotun and Dark Elves. I just worry that with him not there then maybe they will succeed" and if not one of them another force.
"Magic can not be recreated, I do not truly understand it but I know there is no danger" at least that was the impression she got from those on Asgard who did understand it. It was one good thing about Midgard, no magic.
"I would not know, but I hope not. On both counts. Though if there is more life out there then they may be friendly" well she hoped so anyway. There was already more blood being spilled then she, and she assumed Thor too, would ever let on.

“You feared me? of all people? I feel as if that’s a lie.” He blinked slowly, making sure that this wasn’t some dream as it was all too much too soon. He blushed lightly, “U-Uh, I didn’t mean for you to hear that, it’s a silly childhood thing I had.”
“It is not a lie but there was only two occasions. Surely by now you realise I am only telling you the truth?” She gave small sigh, now more confused then had been before, “if you believed it to be silly then it would not embarrass you. Still if you would rather not tell me then I understand”.
“I-I suppose you’re right.” Loki sighed back, “no keeping secrets from you is there?” He laughed weakly, “I-I-… When we were younger, I used to have a.. Well.. Midgardians call it a crush. It’s when you like someone more than a friend.. I had a crush on you.”

She smiled at the offer, “I thank you but there is no need. I know how to find Thor and I have been here a few months. Besides two of us together of this realm cannot end well” she said it in humour but there was a sense of truth in the matter. She did have slightly more knowledge then Thor but only because Heimdall had been telling her things all her life. She just kept that piece of information to herself.
“They are useful but only in times of war. Probably why Alfheim has never given them to this realm” well unless the rumours about war within the realm were true. War within a realm was rare, but then this realm was unique from the others.
“I hope so too. I doubt Jotunheim will be a problem, last I heard their Bifrost was destroyed and only a few can use the pathways at a time. They can hardly man an attack” plus Jotunheim was rebuilding after Loki’s attack there. “Outside of Yggdrasill is another story though”.
Natasha shrugged, “Alright, but if you change your mind.” She offers, but not sure if the woman would she seemed pretty fixed on the idea and so the Spy let it go for now. Though she wondered why it would be such a bad idea for Thor and Sif to be in each others’ company unless it was sort of complicated between them.
“Makes sense.” It was always time of war on this planet. Everyone was almost always fighting everyone especially in certain areas. Such things as these healing stones would come in handy. She wondered if Asgard controlled them if they would have them thanks to Thor, “It’s probably a good thing we don’t have them.” She realizes, “People tend to abuse things around here.”
So they didn’t have to worry about Frost Giants. Hallelujah. But they did have to worry about other places. Go figure. But Natasha figures they’ll worry about it when and if it happens. Well not if, it most likely will someday but at least there was the Avengers now, “As Asgard ever been attacked like us by someone outside of the tree thing you mentioned?”

She gritted her teeth slightly at that. It wasn’t that she was angry it was just her way of realising emotions without anyone noticing. It helped a lot. “Not yet. There is little I can say that will convince him to return home and I cannot have that argument”. She couldn’t return without Thor, Thor wouldn’t return without Loki, and Loki just wouldn’t return. Besides her family were being… difficult at the moment.
“I guess you do not have them here then. I think they are from Alfheim, they heal most injuries if broken over the wound in a certain time period. It has saved all our lives many times” she normally had some on her to avoid losing anyone.
“They have a problem with all the realms. I assume they would just rather not make enemies out of Midgard as well”. She would never pretend to understand the dark elves. They only seemed to be happy when spilling blood. “He probably was referring to Jotunheim. They would do anything for even a little power. There are other worlds outside of the nine realms, we just know little about them”.
That told Natasha everything she needed to know basically. It came down to Loki, Thor wouldn’t leave without him and she knew this was fact like it or not, “I could take you to him if you’d like or at least where he is, plus you’d have a place to stay.” Stark Tower could handle one more Asgardian she was certain.
“No we don’t but it would be nice if we did.” Not that she herself needed them; she healed on her own at a somewhat quicker rate than normal humans depending on the injury that is.
She quirked a brow at that, “Thanks for the heads up… but hopefully like you said they’ll all just continue to ignore us.” Though thanks to the whole business with Loki and the Chitauri she wasn’t so sure of that anymore, she sort of trusted Thor’s opinion in this and feared that the attack on New York had put them on the radar but she figured time would tell either way at some point and hopefully later rather than sooner.

“Indeed it has My Lady. How have you been as of late?”
“To be honest, bored. The Allfather sent me here to convince Thor to return home. There seems little point in even trying to do that”.
“Aye, Thor has always been the stubborn one. Is there any way I could assist if need be?”
