Hi Everyone! Something that’s always important to me as a business owner is transparency. Although I don’t have to say much, I believe it’s important. Face masks are small but mighty tasks. Depending on the difficulty, they can take up to 45 minutes just to make 1. Before COVID, I have been the one sewing majority of items minus the items made in Nigeria. I wasn’t expecting masks to be one of the things made so I didn’t expect that I’d have to hire people during this crazy time but I am so thankful that I can. Mask costs have increased because they take time + we believe brands cannot grow alone. Teams are important to growth. We were taking on shipping costs of masks but unfortunately as a growing business, that’s not something that we can continue doing. We remain hopeful that we can keep our online store open during this time + beyond. Thank you for shopping with us during this time and spending your hard earned money. We’re so thankful to each and everyone one of you that have purchased a mask from us during this time. We wanted to give you a little update after we posted last week that we were hiring. ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ For years, one of @_michelleo_’s goals was to employ young women to create with LLULO. We’re proud to say that we’ve finally done that.
