his lips pursed as he listened to bella talk about her poor health. “you know i’m always here to help in any way i can. don’t forget that.” he quickly kissed the top of her head, resting his lips there momentarily; grateful to finally have the girl close to him again.

“how have things been with that, your health?” blake said as he carefully rested his head against hers. “any signs of potential recovery?” he worried constantly about the girl’s pain, always hoping that it would get better.

           ‘ mr. thomas, he was an asshole, though he knew how to teach. ‘ bellatrix answered his question, she hated having mr, thomas when she had him as a teacher but looking back at it he wasnt that bad of a guy. when he put his arm around her, bellatrix moved so she was leaning into his side. ‘ han is the smaller one, he was the runt of the litter and bells was the bigger one. i almost got a third pug a few months ago but i didnt. ‘

“well, as i’m sure you’re quite aware america has thirty-five countries, so personally whenever someone says just american i always think of the continent rather than just one country, and quite frankly i think it’s a bit unfair to automatically assume you’re talking about the u.s. i feel this might be one of the reasons why the majority aren’t fond of them, sometimes you come off as too conceited. i’m not talking about everyone or you in specific by the way.”

“ i remember when you used to tell me about your french class and that terrible teacher you had, what was their name again? ” he reached his arm around her, resting it on the back of the sofa. “ your dogs always were the cutest, although i prefer the smaller one; he’s much more friendly. ”

“trust me, the french hate the british more. we barely get any points from them during eurovision,” mini’s sang as she took a seat in the neighbouring sofa. she had a bowl of popcorn in her right hand and can of cider in the other. “it’s a bit sad really. we give them so much and what do we get ?? three, if we’re lucky. pass me the remote.”

“ a eurovision fan are we? it’s crazy how elaborate some of those performances are, major props to whoever competes. ” he reluctantly threw the remote towards the smaller girl, “ you better put on something good.”

“Whatever. They can deal with the tourists. You can’t choose to stay in Paris of all places in France and’ not expect to see American tourists everywhere. It’s their own choice, really.”

“ couldn’t agree more, i hate when people complain about circumstances that they put themselves in. at least we’ll be having a good time while they sit, watching us grumpily. we have the better end of the deal, really. ”

“ i’m not really sure what other type of american you would assume i’m referring to, ” his slightly furrowed brow indicated his confusion as he thought about whether or not anyone has referred to non-u.s. americans as just simply american. “ i wouldn’t go as far to say that everyone hates us, only the vast majority. ”

“ ahh, the one thing i forgot before signing up for this show is how much i dislike france, ” he ran his fingers through his ash brown hair, sighing as he sunk into the leather couch placed in the living room. “ i just get the vibe that all french people hate americans- but then again, i guess i would too. ”
