My first time trying to create CSS art.
I'm still bad at this but now I know enough to make something. lol
Turns out that I want to take programming more seriously than originally planned so I'm going to share my coding related projects more often! Here's an HTML / CSS exercise I was working on. :)
If you’re looking to practice and grow your CSS skills, here are some challenges that you can participate in to grow your skills.
More web dev practice.
I'm making my own website with work examples. I don't know where I'll host it but that can be figured out later. I just want to practice web development.
I'm teaching myself HTML and CSS! I know a little bit of javascript and python but not enough to make new projects. That should be fixed in a few months, though. :)
I found out how to make custom brushes in Adobe Illustrator. :D
This should save me time when painting because I can import brushes and patterns.
Also, I had to repost this again because I left it in CMYK by accident.
More vector studying. I plan to make my own brushes too for flexibility.
another quick vector exercise.
This didn't come out as bad as I though. :)
More progress on my vector art study. I learned a couple more things that I wish I knew earlier. This would have saved me hours of work. Hahah...
Spending about a month learning programming and nothing more came a long way for me. I'm going to use the same strategy when learning how to lean programming and apply it to vector art. I want to spend 1 month on vector art primarily to learn the tools and see what I can do with it. Here's something I'm working on.
Vector art study on Adobe Illustrator!
Some alternative version. These are studies.
Quick concept while playing around with Canva and Adobe Draw on Android.
Some icons I made. I want to make motion graphics with these. :)

Future of this blog
I ultimately decided to turn it into a Graphic Design blog.
I originally planned to delete it from inactivity but after having health problems with my eyes, I figured that graphic design is simpler to explore. At least just in case bad health keeps me from animating more often.
I’m STILL going to make art and animation, don’t worry! I’m still a 2D animator and illustrator.
It’s just that my art/animation content will be on my main blog, @lmaruchartista. I’m also working on Art Prints to sell while my 2D animation is just for youtube videos.
My plan is to work on things based on what I can handle and I don’t want my vision to get worse. Having to deal with crunch time isn’t optimal for me. However, I have no issues making 2D animations during my own free time and when I'm not having problems. :)
