My friend got a job as a nurse!!! And such a beautiful day.

✨Officially✨ done with nursing school

Seems odd, but we did have to come back to the School of Nursing the Monday after graduation to take a predictor test, which essentially, well, predicts, whether we’ll pass the NCLEX.

Although I’ll be studying my ass off these next few weeks, it’s safe to say that I’m in good shape according to the exam’s results.

One of the biggest and most rewarding parts of yesterday’s graduation is that I (along with my honorary little sister and best friend) was presented with the DAISY Award for nursing students.

If you’re in nursing or know more than the average person about the field, you understand that receiving the DAISY Award is an absolute honor and something to be incredibly proud of. I am still shocked and at a loss for words at the whole thing, but I am SO grateful.

Got our headshots and honor cords today for graduation! Can’t wait to finally walk on Friday. It’s been 3 years in the making.

I love these beautiful people (and many others not pictured). I couldn’t have chosen a better group to go through all this with.

Your girl just accepted her dream job offer!

It feels surreal to know that I’ll be returning to the OR where I completed my senior practicum. Over the past few months, I’ve come to love the unit, the people, and the work, so the possibility of not coming back after graduation was becoming harder and harder to accept.

I interviewed for the position on Thursday and received a job offer the very next day. What a meaningful and full-circle way to end my nursing school journey.

Just going to be on cloud 9 for a while, don’t mind me.

Been trying to stay consistent at the gym. That part’s actually been pretty easy. The hard part’s been trying to achieve and maintain a calorie surplus so I can bulk up. Clinicals and a busy schedule add to the challenge, but I’m hoping things get a little easier as time passes and I get more into a routine of things.
