Arknights just dropped this "music video" for Friston out of nowhere and it's blowing my mind.

We actually get to see art of Predecessors that aren't Priestess and Oracle?? I never expected Trevor to be blonde lowkey, he always gave brunette vibes. But his daughter ( I'm assuming it's his daughter, the one in the wedding dress) really does look like Kristen. No wonder he assisted her.

Also this isn't really music per-se, it's like an audio log from Friston himself, but it feels so haunting. Friston singing Daisy Bell in the beginning, the desperation growing in his voice as the video goes on... It's not treading any new grounds in terms of lore (most of what he talks about is said or implied in Lone Trail or his operator files,) but it feels just as significant to me. Idk, I'm just weak to seeing anything of the Predecessors. What they were like, how they faired as their eventual extinction neared. It makes their absence feel heavier.

Also the art of robo Friston surrounded by the photos makes me so sad :(((((

"demetri vs lappland gay competition" demetri is literally larping betrayal breakup yaoi when lappland was doing the real deal wholeheartedly. "ill kill you for betraying our family" (in a law abiding way) (doesnt do it). come back to me when demetri intentionally joins a manhunt against leon in an attempt to thwart his plan of faking his own death to escape siracusa and then years later forces them to fight to the death bc he believes that the fate of siracusa hinges on the one of them living and dying as representatives of siracusas bloody past and idealistic future respectively
