I tried to make a joke/ref to a FNaF fan song to my dad but it kinda just got really awkward really quick cuz my dad thinks FNaF is stupid and doesnt know any FNaF songs

For context, we were at the store and I asked if I could get Monster cuz (roughly quoting myself) "its been so long, since the last time I drank some monster" and then I realised my dad probably had no idea what I was yapping about (i was right, he had no idea)

But anyways, now I have some Ultra Sunrise (or as my friend calls it "Ultra Sunburn") It's v yummy, it's basically just carbonated+caffeinated lemonade, it's awesome

Here's the thing, as much as it hurts to have accept this, friends grow apart. You're not gonna be close forever. And that's fine.

But also, you could just be going through a rough patch in your friendship. All relationships you'll ever be in (platonic and otherwise) will have their rough times. You might not get along or might not hang out as much as before, but that doesnt mean you should automatically get discouraged or give up on the friendship.

Give it time, is what I'm saying. And as cringe as it sounds to be the person to say this, just make sure you didn't do anything that made them mad at you. I'm not saying that's what this is, but again (going back to my second point), saying or doing something that made your friends mad could cause a rough spot in the friendship.

But, please, just give it time. I promise, it'll get better with time. You might stay friends with these people and this just be a rough patch in the friendship. Or, you might find new friends. Either way, things will get better. That's my promise to you.
