Stop to take in your surroundings. If your room has a window in it, take a look. See what's out there and take a break from what you are doing.
I'd rather be in outer space 🛸

Great view from the ‘office’ tonight.
Making postcards a priority during as I remote work travel. Communication between friends family and travel pals is important. It doesn't take much effort and from experience of receiving post cards from other friends myself, it's a great to get a little something special in the mail. When you're not expecting it, mail from a friend can brighten your day. As the post card sender, it's also an opportunity to reflect on your trip. It's a win-win for everyone. ✉️📬💌
This is what a Monday can be like.
Sick
This week I am sick. It’s just a cold. I know what it is and what I'll endure each day. I know that I will feel awful each morning and awful each night and that the days won’t feel as bad. They will just be inconvenient. Normally the thought of being sick is haunting. How will I get my work done if I’m sick? When I was in school and previous jobs, the thought of a sick day caused me a lot of anxiety. Sure, if I’m sick, I can and should stay home, but then all I can think about is everything I will need to catch up on they day after and the day after that. I don’t have time to be sick.
This week I felt completely different. I am a remote worker now. I work from home. Being sick doesn’t affect others around me like it use to and being sick doesn’t mean I have to fall outrageously behind on my work. I am sick, but I can work from home. I can sleep in. I can take naps as needed. I can work away slowly at tasks.
This week I feel good about being sick. I’m looking forward to feeling better, but being sick didn’t hinder my week like it would have before.
A working day in October.
It's easier than ever to work from anywhere you want, so why not take advantage of that in the cold winter months? Here' are the ten best remote work locations to escape to this winter!
Escape winter.... just because you can.
This photo was taken 5 years ago and even today I am inspired by it.
Adventure
Today feels like the first day of everything I've always wanted my life to be. I’m ready to jump into location independence.
