LOCKWOOD & CO. 1.06
Lockwood & Co. + Text Posts
i just got the funniest visual ever.
what if lucy accidentally dropped skulls jar and instead of breaking it just rolled. and like let’s say she tries to go after it and just kicks it, causing it to roll further away and skull is just like
“this is so humiliating. for both of us.”
or
“if i wasn’t already dead, i would request you kill me immediately”
or
nothing. just a long, drawn out sigh as he rolls further out of reach.
Fully obsessed with Lockwood and Co's most used love language being acts of service but once Lockwood discovers how much he loves physical touch its game over.

I missed him
I left my family without looking back. Lockwood’s lost all of his. We are not losing you, Georgie.
LOCKWOOD & CO — 1.05 : “Death Is Coming”
Just never lie to me again. Swear it.
Phantom or Friend ; Lockwood & Co. pt 1
George Cubbins was never very good with words. Sure, he could talk about the origins of the Problem until someone’s ear fell off, but he wasn’t good at talking to people. Talking at people tended to work a lot better for him.
“George, are you even listening?” Lockwood’s voice startled him out of his thoughts, and he looked up. Lockwood was in his usual chair, eyeing him curiously. In front of George was an untouched slice of cake, one Lockwood’s gaze flickered to now. “Apparently you weren’t. I was asking you what is was you wanted to speak about.” George knew that, even if he hadn’t heard what Lockwood said. He took a breath. “It’s about the case, the one about the ghost near the bridge, the one Holly gave us yesterday.” Lockood nodded, his eyebrows drawn together—his silence a signal for George to continue. George felt his breaths becoming increasingly more painful.
“Well, I’ve got a possibility. I was going through the stories and then I realised which bridge it was—and there was a death there. And, well, it happened about a year ago.” “George I’ve never heard you so reluctant to talk about your discoveries.” A corner of Lockwood’s mouth lifts slightly. “Out with it then.” George can see the concern in his eyes though, and the dark circles beneath them. He was always tired nowadays. George hesitates for one more moment before plowing on ahead. “It’s where Lucy died.”

Lockwood adjusted his gloves. His face glowed in the torchlight, his dark eyes shone. As always, peril suited him.

“If you did ever want to come back to Lockwood and Co […] we’d at least have the pleasure of each other’s company for a bit before my untimely end…“
