Stop staring.. seriously..
"I'm not staring, Alice." Logan said, smiling. "I'm simply just observing my fellow Iris as she...study's?"
I hate Wednesdays...
Why are they needed? They are fucking useless.
"As much as I agree with you, I have to say that it could be worse. It could be a Monday."
"And Merlin knows, nobody likes Mondays."
I kind of want to be left alone.
If you could just..go. That’d be cool.
"Hmmm." Logan pretended to think it over for a full thirty second, before he shook his head and smiled. "As much fun as I'm sure you'll have by yourself, I think you'd probably have more fun with me around."
"So what are we doing, my fluffy haired friend?"
Slowly Parker lowered her hands, letting the water splash onto the ground below her, “I’m not entirely sure, I was messing around with water spells the other day, and it sort of just happened.”
"...Are you serious?" Logan asked, slightly mystified. "That's gotta be the coolest trick I've ever seen somebody do using water magic."
"That sounds like a true winner."
"I'm sorry, Samuel." Logan said, tiredly. "It's been a long day and I've gotten a lot of complaints."
"So, you'll have to excuse me if I'm being less courteous than I usually am."
It wasn’t even the mentioning of Jack that had put her off, sure the whole situation that played out between them was something she preferred to forget, but that’s not where her concerns were today. Looking up as she avoided meeting the kids gaze, her fingers tapped against her arm as she began to find herself fidgety.
"Has it ever crossed your mind that maybe, just maybe I don’t want friends, nor people to like me?" Her eyes narrowed, lips pursing. "If I wanted to be a social butterfly with friends, I’d change my lifestyle, drastically.”
“I don’t care that you’ve brought him up, he’s the least of my concerns these days.”
"That the thing, Druella. I have thought about it, multiple times actually." Logan said, quietly. "And I don't really believe that you don't want friends."
"Why would I tell you anything?”
Druella froze up at the mention of the last night, though eased quickly as a humorless chuckle slipped out, “Jack, really?”
Logan let out a groan of exasperation, at both Druella and at himself, for stupidly bringing up Jack. Everybody in Salem knew those two's story and everybody also knew that it wasn't smart to bring up around either Jack or Druella.
He shook his head, clearing himself of his thoughts. "Maybe because I'm pretty much one of the few people in this entire school that actually wants to talk to you? And actually wants to be friends or at least not-enemies with you?"
"Look, just forget that I even brought up Jack. It was stupid of me to do...I'm sorry."
"I’d pick your next words carefully.."
"Hey, now! I was just kidding, Parker!" Logan said, frantically. "Cool trick though; how'd you learn how to do that?"
"Who said the expression on my face was directed to this peculiar incident?"
"Bitter is kind of my thing, so that shouldn’t come as much of a shock."
Logan narrowed his eyes, "Well if your expression isn't towards how I wiped the floor with you, then what could it be?"
"Don't tell that the infamous Dreulla is still stuck on what happened last night with dear old, Jack Jack."
I’m not a sore loser, I just don’t actually care. If I did, you surely would’ve lost.
"You know, Druella, I would have almost believed that if it weren't for the expression on your face."
"For somebody that doesn't care, you sure look awfully bitter."
"You know, you don't have to be such a sore loser. I didn't cheat; I won fair and square."
I wonder...
"HA! I KNEW IT! Of course I’m happy. You grew a pair and told me the truth. You just earned some brownie points. "
"Brownie Points?..."
"What does that have to do with homework?"
"...Homework is usually a lot of the spells that I use in Duel Club, so by doing the Homework, I can remember my spells better, and stay sharper."
I wonder...
"Oh come on, it can’t be just me. And it’s not everybody… Just people who are annoying."
"But you think everybody's annoying..." Logan said with a confused expression on his face.
"It’s okay. I doubt it. I’ll try not to take it out on you too much though."
"Hey, it's fine. Ask anybody that really know me; they'll all tell you that I love helping people."
"God dammit Logan…"
"I didn't ask to be put up again the Upperclassmen, you know." Logan said, with an upset expression.
"Well, the other Iris’s are being discriminatory. No one should be judged based on their fellowship and if some try to get handsy with you because of your choice in friends, you come to me, okay?"
"Yeah, Alexander isn’t so bad. He’s reliable and not that annoying. I just find him annoying because I have to share Isaac with him” she chuckled.
"You know if we were talking about anybody else, I'd laugh and think you were exaggerating?"
"But if there's one this I learned within my first week here, it's that Isaac and Alexander are never too far apart from each other.
