No one ever really changes. -A
dianaxporter:
Diana chuckled. “I’ll admit, there have been a few times through the years where you’ve popped into my head.” She lifted her eyes up to him before looking down at the menu.
“Oh. probably just bad stuff.” He teased a little. He knew he wasn’t the greatest guy and he never tried to be so it was okay when she said that was the case.
dianaxporter:
Diana nodded her head as she put her hand on the glass of wine, bringing it up to her lips. “Hey… Maybe I’m just curious about what you do all day.”
“Since when are you curious about me?” He wondered as he took the menu to try and focus on that and not look at her as if she was the best thing since sliced bread. She would just fit in so greatly with his plan.
dianaxporter:
“That’s true. You think you’ll get the business?” Diana asked, putting her glass of wine down. “Business mails? Tell me how would you start one of those?”
“I’m the only candidate right now, so there is not much of a choice.” He knew that his father wouldn’t put someone with another last name to the job. “Hey, don’t put me on the spot. I usually just send out replies.”
dianaxporter:
“It is nice not having a boss.” Diana chuckled, taking another sip as she lifted her eyes up towards him. “What kind of guy are you?”
“Yeah well.. he will retire someday.” And unless Thomas steps up and cared about the company it’s gonna be Logan’s. “The desk kind of guy. I’m good with Excel and I can probably write great business mails.”
dianaxporter:
Diana moved her hand towards the glass of wine that was put on the table, picking it up. “Do you even like working for him?” She asked, lifting her eyes up towards him. “What makes you think that?”
“I don’t think I like working for anyone.” He shrugged. And he was annoyed he blew his job where he was his own boss. “Just not sure what I could do to help. Not really the hands on kind of guy.”
dianaxporter:
Diana nodded her head. “You will show him.” She let a light smile come along her lips as she exhaled. “Yeah, I haven’t been able to focus on life as much as I would like because I don’t have anyone helping at the shop.. and the storm.. I’ve just been thrown off everything.”
“Yeah, right.” he nodded although Logan wasn’t sure if he wanted to. It seemed like a lot of effort and he wanted to enjoy other things in life. He wanted to get into the meddling in this town much rather than work his ass off. “I’d offer help but I’m probably the wrong person.”
dianaxporter:
“He just loves breathing down your neck, doesn’t he?” Diana lifted her eyes up towards him before nodding her head. “Wine sounds great.” She moved her fingers through the strands of her hair.
“Acting like I don’t know what I’m doing is his specialty.” Logan wasn’t stupid just his focus was usually shifted on something else. He ordered wine he liked for both of them hoping Diana would enjoy it too. “What about you? So much to do?”
dianaxporter:
Diana brought the cup of water up to her lips, taking a sip of it as she glanced up towards the door. She let a light smile come along her lips, knowing he spotted her. “It’s okay. How was your day?” She asked, pressing her lips together as she lifted her eyes up to look at him.
“Same old.” he shrugged, although he didn’t know if she actually listened when he had talked about work the last time. But he tried not to let his bitterness show. He sat down across from her and smiled at the waitress coming for him. “Wanna get some wine?”

Diana moved through the doors of the Spice, getting them a table. She looked down at her dress, wondering if it was a little too much. She sat down at the table and asked the waitress for a glass of water while she waited for Logan.
Logan was just angry at everything these days and he honestly didn’t know why exactly but he felt himself slipping into being a no one and he really couldn’t handle that. He ran a bit late but he supposed his work clothes were fine enough for a dinner. As he walked into Spice he instantly spotted her. It felt like she stuck out. “Hey. Sorry. My father had non important stuff to tell me at the end.”
@Diana
Diana: Unless you want me to pick you up
Logan: No. I see you there
@Diana
Diana: Spice?
Logan: Sure. See you there?
@Diana
Diana: Where do you want to go?
Logan: You get to pick. You're asking me out.
@Diana
Diana: I did tell you I'd buy you dinner sometime
Logan: I could eat
@Diana
Diana: I might be.
Logan: What do we do?
@Diana
Diana: It's fine, I could use a break.
Diana: You free tonight?
Logan: Yes.
Logan: You asking me out?
@Diana
Diana: I didn't say that. I've just been in my own world.
Logan: All good. Didn't mean to pull you out of that.
