Time Gone
Continuation from [x]
@craftylittlea
The wait for them to show up felt so long that she jumped when she was suddenly grabbed from behind, a cloth in front of her mouth and suddenly everything went black. She couldn’t scream, she couldn’t move, she felt numb all of the sudden.
Everything was a haze, little specks of conscience came up from time to time. A bottle forced down her throat, pills, ‘I’m doing you a favor’ those words echoed through her head as she opened her eyes. Her head hurt, but more like someone actually hit her over her head than her usual headache. She felt hungover and sick and it took some time until she got used to the light that was coming through her window. She rubbed her eyes, panic slowly mixed with nausea. She tapped next to her. She was in a bed. Not her bed.. not Leo’s bed. She was somewhere else. It seemed to be more of a hotel room or something. She was alone, thank god. Kelly finally managed to move her body upright to look around and it was a mess. Pills, bottles everywhere, her dress somewhere at the side torn up. “Shit, shit..” The last thing she can remember clearly was standing at that goddamn tree hoping to actually get a glimpse of that person that was tormenting her again. Would this ever end?
Kelly tried to move but her whole body felt sore. She felt hungover and the worst thing was that she was sure she’d not only put the drugs all over the place she’d also consumed them. By the looks of it, she could have died from that amount. Fuck, she’d been so strong and now there were her usual painkillers along with fucking cocaine all over the place. How long had she been gone? “Hello?” she called out making sure if anyone was here, slowly putting one foot in front of another as she made sure the door actually opened and she wasn’t trapped somewhere. She was in underwear.. which was a good sign, right? She couldn’t remember anything but three little pieces and it tore her apart what could have happened. She spotted her phone tossed in the corner and she picked it up seeing what time it was, but of course the battery was empty. She’d been gone all night for sure, but doing this, she looked around the room again, in one night was crazy.
She stood there for a moment staring at the pills. She’d already taken them, she could remember at least taking one. She’d fought them so long she felt like it was now time to give in. She didn’t feel strong right now, Kelly felt weak and her days before this had been so shit, she needed something like that. She pushed her hair back before she leaned down and took them up collecting them as if it was expensive pearls or something. Just to be safe of course. As she gathered them she realized her arms were completely blue and as she checked the rest of her body, so were her thighs. No, she couldn’t go there. Her mind was a mess and jumped from one thing to another until someone knocked on her door. “Mam, you need to check out in thirty minutes.” Okay, this was a hotel. She was tempted to ask the man if she came here with someone but did she really wanted to know? “I’ll be out in a minute.” she called, putting what she’d collected into her purse that had been here too luckily. As she looked into it though, it was already filled with them. They’d always tempted her to take more whenever Kelly had tried to be good and now it seems like they have succeeded.
As she moved up from the floor she felt her stomach act up, but she knew there was nothing in there anymore. She could feel it in her mouth she’d already vomited out whatever she had in herself hours ago. She couldn’t remember. Kelly figured she needed to go now, she wanted to go now, although she wanted to hide. What happened, what had she done? There was enough blood on her hands already. She picked up her dress, trying to make it look like she wasn’t a complete mess by tying it up a little. The thing reeked so badly.
She took the stuff she could find and hoped it didn’t look too bad when she left and walked down to the reception. She wanted to run, she knew she couldn’t pay now, she didn’t carry money around but she could maybe call someone from here. But whom? She pushed everyone away and she felt like she wouldn’t be able to explain this mess to Leo. As they told her the two nights were already paid for, Kelly’s head was throbbing at the mention of two nights. She was gone for two nights? Not that that was something unusual just a year ago or something but Leo must be pissed. She tried to smile at the person telling them to call her a taxi as she moved out, the bright sun hurting her head more, as she pulled a pill out of her bag out of habit as she took it, not realizing how bad this was yet. It was just what it had been for months. She moved onto the street and recognized she wasn’t in Baberton, this was Bridgefield.
The taxi pulled up and Kelly felt sicker than before. She couldn’t tell Leo that this happened. She knew she should but how could she explain something that she didn’t even know what happened. She took a deep breath as the pill was soothing her headache and pushed her forehead against the glass of the window as the driver drove off.
Bloody Down the Bunny Trail || Closed Para
“I gotta pee...” Amanda giggled a bit, pulling free from her dancing partner. She turned toward the bathroom, swaying a bit. She was probably a little over the legal limit for drunk. She smiled a bit, stopping in the hallway and leaning against the wall behind a line. She reached into her bra, pulling her phone out. She began to fiddle with it, scrolling through some texts. She rolled her eyes at the multiples from Ben.
“Delete. Delete. Delete...” She mumbled to herself, slipping her phone back into place and heading into the bathroom when it was finally empty. She lounged against the vanity counter, leaning forward to inspect her eye makeup. She had spent maybe twenty minutes worrying that Ben might show up, but that fear had evaporated with the fourth shot. There was a knock and she jumped slightly. “I will be out in a minute!”
She reached up to fluff her hair a bit, rolling her eyes at the second knock. “Really? I told you to give me a minute!” She groaned, stepping over and yanking the door open. “Patience is a virtue!” She said in a bit of a fierce tone. The person was masked, of course. It was a masquerade party. They stepped forward, practically shoving her back into the bathroom. “Hey, what the hell?! Lighten up!”
Moving to push her way out of the bathroom, they had grabbed a hold of her arm and she turned back to face them. She stared at the masked person, trying to figure out who it was. “Ben?! Really? Do you think this is funny?” She immediately accused, trying to pull her hand from their grasp but the grip was too tight. That was when she noticed the gun. “Let me go... please...” She cried out, feeling a course of fear wash through her.
She jumped as she heard the click of the trigger and closed her eyes. Once. Twice. Thrice. Her body felt cold and she crumpled to the floor. “Help...” She whined slightly. The person stepped around her and she reached out to grab a hold of the pant leg but didn’t have the strength to hold on.
She scratched a bit at the floor, trying to pull herself out the door. She needed to get help. She knew that much. But her whole body was cold and numb. “Help...” She choked the words out. She saw someone round the corner and look at her, heard them yell and then everything went black.
(audrey) You don't deserve love and you know it. -A
Her heart dropped and she frowned. She let out a small whimper, unable to hold back the tears. They were right. She didn’t deserve love. She didn’t deserve companionship. She didn’t deserve anything. No one wanted her. She had a string of guys that she had fallen for that hadn’t wanted her, that had chosen someone else over her. She didn’t have the confidence that she used to have. She felt like… she was nothing anymore. She laid her phone face down on the counter top and turned to get a bottle of vodka out of the refrigerator. She twisted the lid off and headed over to the couch.
(tristan) If you'd done something about your brother, you could have saved a lot of people. How do you live with yourself? -A
Tristan had been sitting on this text message all day. He had gotten it sometime in the afternoon, read it, wondered who it was who had typed it. An enemy that Tim had made? Maybe a friend that Tim had made? Did Tim even have friends? He had laid down, but sleep just wasn’t coming. Instead he laid on his back, staring up at the ceiling, reflecting. “You know… I can’t take the blame for you forever…” He mumbled to the empty room. “We shared a womb, shared parents, shared faces, but I am not you. I never fucking was… I am sick of inheriting your fucking enemies… I won’t be you anymore, Tim. I won’t do it. You are dead so leave me the fuck alone…” He propped himself up on his elbow, looking at the picture on his nightstand. He kept it mostly for his parents, but also for Tim. Devil or not he was still his brother, still a part of him in many ways. “I love you, I really do; and I would have done anything to save you. To keep you from being stupid and arrogant, psychotic… but I couldn’t. I didn’t protect you. I didn’t fix it. You are gone now and I won’t allow myself to continue atoning for your sins. I am not you, Tim… I won’t be blamed for your behaviors…” He reached out and gently laid the picture frame face down. He then turned off the lamp and laid down. “Not anymore…”
Get the info I put in your purse front page or I'll make sure your ex-boss comes and gets you. -A
Nikki looked up from the article she was working on when her phone went, frowning a little as she read over the message. Her old boss... she never wanted him to get any kind of push to ever come here so she felt pushed into a corner really. Plus, she’d put herself in this position to be used by -A, even though Jamie was gone. She moved to rummage through her purse and found what -A had planted in there at some point. Information about some girl. Nikki didn’t know if she would be able to pull it off but she’d have to whip up an article using this before the papers went to print later... and then sneak this onto the front page without being caught. Fuck. Sighing and feeling like she had no choice, Nikki put away what she’d been doing and started on a fresh article.
Your wife isn't as strong as you seem to believe. -A
Eric had been working, when he heard his phone go off. For a moment he thought it was Imogen or maybe even his sister. Reaching for it, he picked up and he seen the message. Reading it for a moment, he sighed a little bit and sat back. Before grabbing his phone, he decided to text back. ‘Piss off, she is a lot more stronger than you think.’ He hit send and then went back to work.
