Ari grinned up at him as he spoke and as his hand trailed behind her ear and to her neck. She let him pull her in, moving a step closer and leaning up on her toes to meet him halfway for another out of this world kiss. She wasn’t sure if she could ever get used to his kisses. It was like time stopped every time their lips met and it was just the two of them, only him and her, and nothing else mattered.
As he pulled away Ari gave him another warm grin, biting her lip a little, still tasting him on her lips. She giggled a little at his words and gave his hand a light squeeze. “You’re probably right. Besides, you’ve got school in the mornin’, and I wouldn’t want you sleepin’ in on account of me. That probably wouldn’t get me on your mom’s good side either.”
Her mom would want to hear all about tonight. That was for sure. And with it seeming like the whole town was watching them, there was no doubt someone had seen them kissing. If that got back to April before Ari could tell her then she’d have a lot of explaining and making up to do. April would definitely want to meet Logan now, that was for sure too. She watched Logan as she thought, and it looked like he was thinking about things too. She couldn’t help but smile at him as they stood there. She liked him so so much. Her smile widened as his attention came back to her and they started heading back for her car. As he whispered in her ear, Ari’s grin returned in full force. “I definitely like the sound of that. My work schedule is kind of all over the place at the moment though, but if you give me some advance warning I can make sure I get some time off and get someone to cover. When were you thinkin’? Maybe Thursday?”
