the funniest part about robb and edmure’s relationship is that no matter how many times robb commands his uncle to address him as “your grace” he just…doesn’t. not even on purpose. not to be disrespectful. not to make a point. it’s just like an instinct for edmure to greet him with a “yo robb what’s up” 🙂↔️ whereas the blackfish refers to robb as “your grace” even when he’s just casually talking to catelyn one on one. because to be fair edmure was literally there the day that robb was born. he’s only ever known his nephew as an infant and then one day this teenage boy just shows up out of nowhere and suddenly he’s a king except he’s still growing out his first beard and he’s super attached to his pet dog and he’s constantly reminding his mom that he’s a GROWN UP now and he doesn’t need her approval (but also he really really really wants it). also when you’ve seen your sister’s kid in diapers it’s probably a little difficult to take his authority seriously.

Malcolm Tucker: WOULD NOT
Why would he need AI to write emails for him when he has Sam? Also the fucking thing complains when he swears at it.
Jamie MacDonald: WOULD NOT (mostly)
Doesn't like AI (not for any particular reason, it just annoys him) so he mostly doesn't use it. He rarely writes anything anyway, preferring to yell at people in person or down the phone whenever possible. When he absolutely HAS to write a semi-polite email, though, his disdain towards the whole concept means he gets AI to write it for him. In those cases he sometimes "accidentally" leaves the prompt in the email. Just to rub the point in.
Ollie Reeder: WOULD
That man's AI-related CO2 emissions are astounding. It's hard to say if he's actually written a single word himself since he got access to chatgpt.
Glenn Cullen: WOULD NOT
He is too set in his ways and too dignified about his work to use it. He doesn't particularly have any moral objection against it though, and only objects to Ollie using it insofar as it leaves him even more time to be a menace.
Terri Coverley: DEPENDS
Doesn't like AI because she has a friend/relative in the arts, and if this is before her father's death then she doesn't use it. If this is after her father's death, however, her total inability to give a shit about her job significantly outweighs anything she has against its use, so she uses it heavily.
Nicola Murray: WOULD NOT
Doesn't use AI because of Malcolm banning its use by ministers until further notice due to the controversy it causes. She doesn't know enough about it to have any particular opinion, but she thinks it's probably fine.
Peter Mannion: WOULD NOT
He doesn't care about any of the normal arguments against it but he doesn't really see the point and is far too much of a luddite to use it. Also, Stewart likes it, which is a clear sign that it's something deeply unholy.
Stewart Pearson: WOULD
He loves it. He uses it constantly. He has chatgpt and several AI image generation apps installed on his phone. He uses chatgpt as his main search engine. This changes only when he finds out about the damage it does to the environment, at which point he switches to some allegedly eco-friendly knockoff.
Phil Smith: WOULD
Genuinely thinks of grok as his friend. Uses c.ai for Lord of the Rings roleplay.
Emma Messinger: WOULD NOT
Under any other circumstances she wouldn't care, but because Ollie and Phil use it so much she makes a point of never using it out of a desire for moral superiority over them.
Julius Nicholson: WOULD NOT
Cares deeply about its the ethical and environmental problems and bans its use by his subordinates. He pushes for legislation to limit it but is, of course, thoroughly ignored.
