Interesting feeling when your sitting at a huge family gathering and realize that with the early 20’s kids your considered the father figure and the one they call when they need someone to talk to.

It’s nice to see them becoming great adults and knowing you’ve had something to do with it. It was even better to let the partner of one of the cousins know that he’ll be getting a phone call Monday with a job offer for mechanic at the city garage.

Sitting around me was a brilliant native artist and child educator, someone who’s going to school for civil engineering tech, model, mechanic and high school football star.
