Unnanounced, the collector plops down beside Ioka with two plates of food. One plate, presumably Soizic's, is filled with nothing but cheese.

"Are you hungry?" The girl says quietly, using her shoulder to straighten her glasses.

loka’s eyes travel to the plate filled entirely with cheese.

Maeko walked past the cafeteria, holding a couple of items and a tote bag. She briefly glanced over at Loka, before stopping herself in her tracks. Maeko walked over to them, before sitting down in the seat right next to them. Maeko tapped Loka on the shoulder, a warm smile spread across her face.

"Hey, Loka! What'cha doing?"

oh, hey! i was just remembering my friend vicky. we used to go from the same elementary school before i moved to japan.

they smiled.

i wish i could see hir again. ze was really cool! we were like, really close. we kind of had a falling out when i went to hopes peak though.

"Oh, that must be a shame. I'm sorry to hear about your falling out."

Maeko nervously smiled, not wanting to offend the other person. She cocked her head slightly to the side, a puzzled expression on her face.

"Say, why are you all alone? I know it's typically pretty loud in our class, but wouldn't it do you one better to be here with a friend?"

it’s okay, it happened a while ago. ze had always wanted to go to hopes peak. i felt kind of bad. from what i’ve heard though, ze’s like really good at chess now, so maybe ze’ll transfer here eventually!
