Shackled Black Man Ordered Belly Down in Deadly Arrest

New body-camera video of Ronald Greene’s arrest shows Louisiana state troopers ordering the shackled, beaten Black man to keep lying facedown -- a tactic that may have hindered his breathing -- and an autopsy cited restraint and “inflicted head injury” among the factors in his death.

The cruelty and pure evil of humanity will always catch me off guard. There’s nothing worthwhile in senseless violence. And there’s nothing to be gained from racism, whether it’s on a personal level or on a system wide level. Condoning or covering up behavior such as this speaks to the depth of the corruption and fear that controls our governing officials. At the core of these issues is a lack of education and lack of understanding that prompts to officers fall back on old biases and overreactions in situations that should never escalate to this level.

Good for Europe!!! I feel like the United States could profit from this training too! Why can’t we grow up and focus on real issues (like, hmmm, I dunno, maybe... systemic bigotry towards members of the LGBTQ+ community?!?!?) instead of arguing about who won the election or who rigged the voting or whatever the hell it is the idiots of the country spend their days freaking out about.

Misinformation fuels COVID-19 vaccine conspiracy theories

Nearly three in ten Americans don’t plan to get the Covid-19 vaccine, according to a new Quinnipiac University poll.

I’ve got god vibes and can’t get covid (ha, suck it!) but all of you should get vaccinated. A few mutations won’t hurt and you’ll still love your offspring even if they have a third eye or a tail or whatever... Seriously, as much as I love spreading panic and mass hysteria, in this case listen to the actual real life scientists out there and trust them when they tell you the vaccine isn’t going to kill you. I’d love to screw with you and stoke the anti-vaccine craze since preying on human stupidity brings me great joy, but I really don’t look great in my mask and I’m ready for this whole thing to be over. Get vaccinated already and then we can move on to better things!
