Tell me why the portal to the Nexus looks like the portal from the Kraang prison dimension?

We know the crying Titan has a Kraang skeleton in it (another question about that at a later date) which is crying empyrium, a very powerful liquid.

Is perhaps the yokia in the hidden city normal animals from centuries ago, and then when the Kraang attempted World domination, and failed, that powerful liquid was the first mutation that turned the animals into what they are? And the process of cross breading animals and insects (because now they have more human reproductive capabilities) it made them look how they are today?

And then the Kraang tech leftover from the battle was incorporated into the hidden city tech and magic items. Perhaps the yokai who had a stronger concentration of the liquid are the ones with the mystic magic, like the witches from witch town.

Gah! There's so much that we could have had answers for if the show hadn't been canceled!

I'm watching the rise show (again) and I'm in the repo mantis episode and saw his kitten before she mutated.

Which made me remember later on he told how she changed, and she was touching Repo.

We already know that what they mutate into depends on the last thing they were touching, or currently touching, and the kitten was touching Repo, so it the mutation doesn't just depend on actual animals and bugs, but mutants can became a factor on that.

So anyway, my head stories are now gonna have a bunch of versions where Draxum pre redeption kidnaps a turtle to use ad the base for making his mutant army after figuring that out himself.

Or an oc meeting the boys and changing.

Or April mutating into a turtle (like Jenika from the comics).

Or sooo many fic and oc opportunities.
