“I’m just excited to meet her. I mean, it’s nice to know that I can meet her and not have to stretch the truth.” Bucky confessed in a quieter pitch, he had been so used to not meeting his lovers parents had they been male. Though, Loki was so much more than that. His cheeks burning a little as he was incredibly excited as well a tad nervous.

“Well, I would imagine magic helps. She’s got the sixth sense that all mothers seem to have but to a new degree.” Chuckling to himself, before quieting down as he didn’t know if Loki’s mother had the same impressive hearing that his lover had. Though he assumed it to be the same for Frigga. He had noticed how much more elegant the castle had gotten the further they walked. Nodding a bit at Loki’s mention of how close to the area where their mother would be.

“I do? I never knew that. Does that have to do with auras?” Questioning with a soft pitch.

“Ah, no see, her sixth sense is literally her using her magic to sense the future. Sometimes it shows her on it’s own, but she usually needs to focus on it, or just follow her feelings.” Loki says as he leans over and gives Bucky a kiss on the cheek, not caring who saw as he happily made his way towards the middle of the hall.

“I don’t know,” He admits when asked about auras, “I don’t think it’s a special aura type thing it’s just that whole...sense of just...knowing who is and isn't a good person along with appreciating the finer qualities of their personality that shines through in their actions.” He smiles at Bucky.

“that happens with you,” He hums as there’s a howl as Fenrir goes bolting by and moves to turn and skids a bit then goes bolting towards a closed door, which opens before the wolf could run into it, and Loki rolls his eyes.

A moment later, a woman in a beautiful dress that screams royalty could be seen walking out, holding Fenrir and petting him, the woman shaking her head fondly as she now looks to Loki and Bucky.

“Hello boys. What too k you so long?” She asks with a warm smile even as Loki huffed a little.

“Bucky, this is my mother, Queen Frigga.” He says even as Loki bows his head to his mother.

Bucky shrugs. “You told me the truth sooner than later and I love both halves of you so..I’m happy with you.” Pecking Loki’s cheek. Hoping that by the time that they got to where ever Frigga had been in the palace that the color in his cheeks would have settled down.

Contently leaning into the kiss, melting for a moment though he was much more aware that they were in a public setting. Holding back for once instead of going in on his desires. “You believe she already knows? Does she have that mother sense but for positive things?” Playfully questioning as he rested his good arm around Loki’s waist while they walked. His eyes occasionally wandering here and there but he made a point at keeping up with Loki’s somehow still swift strides.

The pregnant, yet tall God hummed happily and kept up the kiss just a bit longer before he seemed eager to make Bucky have to work to keep up with him. He may be pregnant and already showing but damnit, he had to show he could still challenge even the best of them to stay in stride with him.

“Of course my mother will know. She knows everything, that and her also having magic helps,” He says, his hand resting not only on Bucky’s hand but partially on his bump, Loki humming as they went properly into the depths of the castle now, Loki humming softly as he started to lead the way up to the Royalty’s floor, now heading down a long elegantly decorated corridor, “We’re getting close now. Any moment she should pop her head out of her reading room.” Loki hums

“I swear, though. You have this air about you that I know she’ll love. Especially when you smile.”

Bucky felt his stomach knot up a little as he heard that his lover’s mother was the Goddess of Motherhood and love. Even if that would be an advantage for the two of them and it sounded like Frigga would be content that one of her children was continuing on the bloodline. “I’ve always bonded better with mothers than I ever did with fathers’. So, I am more than excited to meet her. Maybe Odin will warm up to me or us, both..once he comes to understand we’re simply continuing the blood line.” He suggested in a hopeful manner.

It took him a moment to realize that he was curled up to Loki while still somewhat in public. His cheeks burning as he lifted his head. “We shouldn’t keep your mother waiting, right?” Asking as he hoped that his cheeks weren’t burning as brightly as it felt to be.

“We’re accidentally continuing the bloodline, let’s be honest there,” Loki chuckles softly, “But sure, Frigga will love you. My mom’s rather liked floofy hair on humans like what you have. You’ll charm her easy enough, and I really don’t care what Odin thinks even though I really should.” He says, shaking his head as he rubbed Bucky’s back some more and he didn’t seem to notice and blushing on Bucky’s end, or he would have commented, right? Who knows.

Loki sighed softly and kissed Bucky softly again before pulling out of the hug carefully, “Come on, just a bit further then mother can happily spoil us both, because like you said, we don’t want to keep her waiting. Though, I really would not be surprised if she didn’t already know.”

He felt like he sealed his fate with his concerns. Though, that promise of being able to see his children grow up without the worry of him getting too old and dying early, it gave him hope. He’d also be able to take care of his own mother a lot better, be there for his sisters, Steve and of course Loki. “I think she would be understanding of my concerns.” He expressed in a softer tone, even if he hadn’t met his lover’s mother yet. He had a good feeling that he could trust her.

His cheeks burning a little as Loki kissed his cheek and tugged him into a hug. Nuzzling Loki’s shoulder before standing up a little on his tip toes to press a loving kiss to his lips. “You’ve stuck with me through out some of my best and worst moments these past few years. It’s only fair that I should be here for you and our little one.”

“Of course she would be understanding,” Loki says calmly, “She is a mother as well. She be more than happy to see you want to stay throughout everything,” He says before blinking as he was tugged into a hug then kissed on the lips, which he happily returned before he decided to rest his chin on Bucky’s shoulder

“The only person I could see having an issue of it, is my father but...whatever he will have to deal with it, especially when we get my mother on my side. She’s the Goddess of motherhood and love, amung other things. She has the authority on this, Odin does not.” Loki hums lightly as he happily stays snuggled up to Bucky, just a very very content god.

Bucky smile fell a little when he realized that his own children and lover would more than likely outlive him. Loki was a god, meaning the children would carry that blood line. Learning that there was a specific fruit that had done it, kept his lover alive and looking the same for so many years. It had only set in just now that he might only be in his children’s life for a short amount of time.

“Does it..work on my people?” He quietly asked as he didn’t know if it was a stupid question. He just hadn’t wanted to abandon his family. He wanted to see his little girl or little boy, maybe more grow up. Achieve great things. “I just..had this realization that I might only be in our kids’ life for a short period of time..because my mortality rate is nothing..compared to yours.” He didn’t even realize his voice was a little shaken until he had spoke. Looking down. “I don’t want to end up abandoning our children..”

“It works on anything, really. Anything that has a mind of it’s own and so on. It worked on my boys and I think it’s been given to one human over the years, a sorcerer from Earth called ‘The Sorcerer Supreme’. I may have given her that apple because she insisted she needed to still be around for when the destined Sorcerer Supreme was born and finally ready. In return for the apple she taught me and my mother some magic I had been hoping to learn for a while. An exchange of knowledge for an extended life seemed only fair. That and it was asked that if our family ever needed help while on Midgard--Earth--- that she come to our aide if we called on her.”

Loki then smiled softly at Bucky and leaned over and kissed his cheek, “Don’t worry, I’ll see if my mother will agree to giving an apple to you. You are, after all, entitled to one seeing as you gifted me with this cutie, and with your affection and care.” Loki says as he smiles at Bucky and he tugs Bucky into a warm one armed hug

“Even if my mother says no, I can still get an apple to you. The boys are more than happy to snag an apple and say it’s for them before bringing it to me.”

Bucky thought for a moment before he shook his head. “No, soldiers don’t get restrained to their medical cots unless they’re acting in a way that could be considered dangerous to other soldiers or nurses. I’ve only seen it happen a couple of times. One of the soldiers lost his brother on the field. He lost it when he found out. They had to restrain him to treat his wounds..” Bucky mentioned in a quieter tone as it still hit him when someone he cared about passed away in the war. Even if he knew it could be anyone at any time. Himself included.

He supressed the memory for now, putting on a tender smile as he reached out to pet the puppy sized wolf in Loki’s arms. Chuckling lightly as he saw Fenrir’s little tail wagging faster from the head scratches. Though he looked back up at his lover when he heard the comment about fruit keeping their animals young. He wasn’t sure if it was a joke or if he was being serious. “Does the apple thing work on humans–those that look mortal too?” Asking as he tried to figure out how to word it since Loki wasn’t exactly a normal human even if he looked like one.

“Oh...” Loki says as now he can’t help but wonder....is that something they needed to do to Bucky’s friend? The one that Loki had seen stick to his side....ah...Steve? He wasn’t about to say that out loud, he didn’t want to depress Bucky, but it was something he couldn’t help but wonder about.

Loki smiled as he saw Fenrir wag his tail and could feel the light swats from that little tail wagging and the wiggle that came from the little canine’s body as he wagged his tail.

“Yeah, it does. It works on any sentient being. I’ve had one and so have the royals and a lot of asgardians.” Loki says as he rubs his baby bump for a moment, seeming to think for a moment, “I’m not sure if eating one even now would transfer it’s affects to the baby, though. That’s always been something that’s been wondered.”
