Summary: Lando is your brother's (Max F.) best friend. You've known each other for years and kept a friendly attitude against each other. But something changed when you started working as a reporter in f1 and spend more time with him.
Your brother, Max has been friends with Lando since they were kids. You had been to holidays altogether and the two families were getting along really good. Lando has always been your brother's silly best friend, until you started working in f1 as a reporter and got closer to him.
There has been some kind of tension between you two but you always thought that it was just your mind making up things.
One day you were interviewing Lando's teammate, Oscar.
"Okay Oscar thanks for the interview" you said after the short time report.
"Your welcome y/n. You really make good interviews, I enjoy them...but...I bet someone else that we both know really well would be dying to be in my place right now" Oscar says after moving away from the cameras so that nothing could be heard.
But you were shocked and also trying to understand what he was talking about. ~It could be Lando....but no... he would never see me like that~ you thought to yourself before speaking.
"W-what? What do you mean?"
"It means that someone we both know really well would die to be with you right now instead of me...but I can't day who. Anyway bye y/n" Oscar says smiling before leaving.
"Bye..." you mumble lost in my thoughts.
When you get back to your house you sit down at the sofa and open the TV to watch something to kill your time.
Then your phone lights and you see a message from Max.
Max: Hey y/n. There's a party nearby to your house. I'll be there with Lando and the guys, wanna come? Bring anyone you want just know that I will be checking on you.
Yeah right... Max...he was so protective. Not overprotective but he always kept an eye on you.
You type on your phone, your mind stuck at the mention of Lando being there. You were definitely going.
Y/n: Party? Okay I'm coming. Come pick me up on your way there. I'll be ready.
Max: Okay. And you better be ready. We can't wait for the little princess to get ready.
You roll your eyes at his sarcasm.

Was what you were replaying in your mind over and over again while getting ready. When Max came over to pick you up you were ready and walked out your apartment.
When you got into the car you greeted Max and then....Lando was also there.
"Hi Max...hi..Lando" you say out of surprise. You thought that they would meet there. But here he is now.
"Hi y/n...you look good...really good" Lando says checking you up and down before licking his lips.
You tried to ignore his facial expressions and talked again. "Oh thank you Lan"
"Hey stop flirting with my sister" Max says being the protective older brother.
"Max being Max..." Lando says jokingly.
Good thing he was at the front seat and not being able to see the blush on your cheeks.
Lando has had deep feelings for you, maybe as deep as yours by the time you started to get to know each other more. But neither of you could think that you had any chance with each other.
After partying for some hours, Lando was clearly drunk, but you only looked at him from a distance.
Then a guy approached you.
"Hi sweetie...you are really beautiful..can I get your number?" He says but your heart is owned by Lando. You couldn't start anything with any other guy.
"Sorry but..." He cuts you off.
"Oh do you have a boyfriend?" The guy asks embarrassed.
"No..no I don't but...it's not you it's me..my heart is taken...thank you by the way..and sorry" you reply
"Ohh...I see...already in love huh? It's okay...thanks for being honest." He says
Meanwhile Lando was with Max when...
Lando: Hey where is y/n? Haven't seen her in a while...
Max: oh last time I saw her...she was...she was talking to a guy...actually.
Lando would have fell down if he wasn't standing on the wall.
Lando: What? Really? Where?
Max: Yeah...but why do you care?
Lando: I don't...it's just..I'm surprised you don't...you never know who that dude is. I'll go check on her. Just from far away.
Lando walks towards you, your heart beating faster when you see him.
He was clearly drunk and anyone could notice that. When he came close to you the guy had left.
Y/n: OH some random guy asking for my number...why do you care?
Lando: Asking for your number?! You better have rejected the offer.

"Nothing. Lando just came ro check on me and that guy that came to take my number. I didn't give it to him" you say before Lando could say anything stupid.
"Because...uumm...." you stuttered trying to find something to say. You couldn't say that you didn't like him cause he was really handsome and kind...but you couldn't say that you were already in love.
Then your eye caught a couple being cute and you just stood there staring deep in your imagination that this could be you and Lando forgetting that Max was there.
"HEY! Y/n ! Welcome back to planet earth. What is happening to you?You've been like this for some months..." Max stated clearly noticing your behavior. He could tell that your heart was pounding.
"What do you mean? I'm alright." You answered trying not to look at Lando that was staring at you deeply right behind Max.
"Whatever" Max replies before leaving with Lando.
While, you go to the bathroom to get refreshed. You fix your hair and wait till the flush from your cheeks is gone. You can't take you mind of Lando. How he was looking at you. How close he was. The things he said.
And all of a sudden you see Lando entering the bathroom. Your eyes widen you heart starting ro pound again.
"Hi y/n" He says getting closer to you.
"Lando..." your breath hitches as he stops just centimeters from you.
"Y/n...you..." Lando breaths heavily looking at you in the eyes.
"Fuck this" you murmur before pulling him by the hem of his shirt and kissing him.
Lando responds to the kiss,pulling you impossibly close as he deepens the kiss. He then licks your lips like he is asking for permission. You nod and he slides his tongue in your mouth to tangle it in a fance with yours. It was a messy kiss,saliva dripping of both of your mouths but you couldn't care less.
The he touches your back, moving his hand up and down as your fingers tangle with his hair needing to have him closer.

He then grabs your hips lifting you up and pinning you against the wall. After making out for some more time he wraps you around him so that you could leave from the club and go somewhere more private but you stop him.
"Everything okay love?" Lando says in question.
"Yeah everything's perfect but...what about Max? He may see us if we walk out the bathroom like that...and are we going to leave him like that?"
"You're right...okay we will walk out sincerely and when we leave you will call him and tell him that you left with an Uber and that you told me to inform him. And then I will walk back in to inform him and tell him that it's getting late and that I better leave too. Wait for me where I leave you I won't be longer that 2 minutes." Lando says his plan that can probably work.
"Okay alright. Got it" you say pulling away
You walk out the bar and then you stay in the parking lot as Lando walks in to talk to Max.A few minutes later Lando comes back and you get in a taxi on the way to your place.
By the time the taxi door is closed Lando's lips are on yours, making out with you passionately. The taxi driver glances over you with a scoff and Lando gives him a deadly look before turning his attention back at you.
"Y/n...you don't have a fucking idea how much I've been waiting for this..." He mumbles in the kiss.

When you get to your house you take his hand, dragging him to the front door as you unlock it. Lando wraps you more holding you closer as he drifts to sleep too.

The morning sunlight streams in through the windows, bathing the room in a soft, warm glow. A little later you eyes start to flick, opening to see Lando admiring you being so close to him.

"How did you sleep?" You ask him slowly getting up to wear his hoddie from last night.

After some time of cuteness overload and cuddling your phone rings, Max's name appears on the screen.
"Morning Max...What is it?"
Max: Morning y/n, can you open the door for me? I'm outside...
Y/n: You- what? UM...right...okay...I'm coming.
You close the call looking at Lando panicking.
"HE'S HERE! QUICK TAKE THESE AND GO HIDE IN THE BATHROOM. WHEN HE COMES INSIDE GO OUTSIDE THE DOOR AND WAIT FOR A WHILE. THEN RING THE BELL AND PRETEND THAT YOU JUST CAME HERE! Okay?" You say trying to find a quick and convincing plan. It didn't sound really good but you had no other option...and if Lando got dressed up and came in the house later Max wouldn't suspect anything.
"Okay..got it." He says, getting up from bed and gathering his clothes and moving ro the bathroom to get dressed and hide.
Meanwhile you open the door to Max trying ro seem as normal as possible.
Y/n: What brings you here at this time Max?
Max: OH nothing I just decided to stop by. And then I remembered that Lando would come over later too so I thought that it was a good idea considering how you both left me last night.
Y/n: Yeah he is coming over...for a video for f1...but. What? I know I left before you last night...I was feeling tired and told Lando to inform you about me leaving...he left too?
You said trying to sound like everything is normal .
Max: Yeah he left too by the time he told me that you were leaving....pretty weird huh?
Your eyes widen as he shows that little sign of suspicion.
"No..I don't find it weird...maybe he was tired too" you say knowing that he proved damm well that we was nothing but tired when you finnaly had alone time.
Then Max's eyes widen as he looks at the hoodie you are wearing. Shit you had forgotten about that.
"Y/n? Are my eyes playing with me? Is this Lando's hoodie?" He asks coming closer to you to touch the hoodie.
"What? No...Just because it is a quadrant hoodie it doesn't mean that it's Lando's." You slap his hand to stop touching the hoodie but it was too late. The little red mark on your neck is revealed. Fuck you had forgotten about that too.
Max: Okay...I can buy that...but..how do you explain this on your neck?
He asks getting more and more suspicious.
" What? Come on don't be stupid...I burned myshelf with the hair straightener while I was getting ready last night. Don't let you dirty kind wander so much Max" you reply trying to cover up with a believable lie.
"So you tell me that this is because of a hair straightener..."
"Yes! Now stop doing whatever you're doing"
Max didn't fully believe you but be also wasn't sure if that was really a hickey. So he let it go.
A while latter the door bell rang.
You went to the door to open it for Lando
"He show the hickey on my neck and recognized your hoodie but I told him that the hoodie is mine and that the hickey is a read mark because of the hair straightener" I quickly inform Lando just so that he knows whatever I've said to not mess anything up.
"Okay." He responds closing the door behind him to go over to the living room and greet Max.
" Hi mate how are you?" Max askes Lando but he keeps glancing at you.
Anyway.... 1 hour later the video for f1 was done and you were all chilling in the living room.
"Hey do you wanna do a stream?" Max asked both you and Lando always trying to find ways to stream.
"Yeah sounds good" You both say together glancing at each other. Max stands up and sits to the chair of the office that's near the sofa to start the stream. Lando goes to greet the fans too and you are sitting on the couch.
Then all of a sudden you feel Lando's hands grabbing your biceps as he leans from behind the sofa and kisses you softly.
You melt into the kiss just for a few seconds before pulling away.
"Are you crazy? Max is litterly there!" You say pointing at Max.
"Yeah like that say his name even louder till he hears you" Lando says sarcastically before you pull him in for another soft kiss.
"But not as loud as you screamed mine few hours ago..." He murmurs against your lips you slapping his back in mock annoyance.
But then Max turned around to talk to both of you.
"Hey guys come-" his voice is cut as he looks at you kissing before you instantly pull away from Lando.
"You better be playing a prank on me right now" he says looking at both of you with intensity.
