Some new information based off this article (found by Faithisidking):

The new season will have 26 episodes at 22 minutes each

It's going to be "2D rendered cgi", which sounds like it'll look like Trigun Stampede (clip here)

Xentrix Studios is the same studio that has animated shows like Monster high, MLP and Littlest Pet Shop. I think the rocks are in good hands!

In the upcoming series, after defeating Gramorr, the princesses are back on Earth where LoliRock is about to go on a world tour, but their tranquillity is short-lived. Determined to avenge the death of her brother Mephisto, Praxina has become more powerful than ever and has set her sights on Earth. LoliRock must now protect the planet as they travel the globe on tour.

World tour? Our girls have gone platinum! Wonder if this will be episodic or have a continuous story line.

Hey I’m back! I’ve recently been rewatching lolirock and I finally reached episode in the name of lev part 1 and 2 and i have a long rant about it.

I have to say Iris was acting too naive that episode. Nathaniel who barely likes Missy suddenly is head over heels for her and she didn’t suspect someone could have done something to him? Despite knowing that the twins do infact use their friends against them when they can?

Okay maybe she didn’t suspect anything then but the fact somehow Lev got back to earth and for some reason is getting chased by the twins? Not only that but that her Imprisioned father and Lev SOMEHOW got in contact and sent a commoner with criminal record to send her the message? And Lev telling her to trust no one BUT him when he betrayed her in season 1? (I know she didn’t fully trust him yet)

And then she starts to suspect one of her best friends that she’d known longer than the random guy could of been traitors? Specifically Talia like she would ever work as a spy for Gramorr when she’s basically the most focused on saving Ephedia and has a HUGE disliking to both the twins and Gramorr for what they did to her and her family, hell when Lev was opening the portal and the twins were again, ‘conveniently’ around. The twins were INFACT. Attacking Talia along with Auriana so wether the twins liked it or not Gramorr would most likely ordered them not to hurt Talia if she was working with them, and Gramorr happens to have called off the twins when they were close to defeating Talia and Auriana which was obviously suspicious because the twins were not holding back prior. And Lev was obviously making some big accusations on Talia when hes the only one there THAT HAS BETRAYED HER BEFORE. And yet shed rather go with him than her friends? Not only that he was super pushy! And honestly I wish that Iris’s action to trust lev actually caused a rift between her and Auriana, Talia. For more than 1 episode.

Also the way Izira talked in the message was already pretty weirdly formulated. Honestly it feels like this episode nerfed the characters for plot convenience, how did the dark crystal magic get to Izira in the first place? The twins haven’t left earth at that time and Gramorr couldn’t leave the castle? And I doubt Lev was able to sneak his way to curse the device.

I Really don’t get why Iris was so suprised that Lev ended up betraying her, it’s not like he had any developement after his first apperances. I would get it if the show actually wrote in lev to be in more episodes and ended up being more trustable, but his character was rushed from start to finish. Iris had no reason to believe he had changed!

I rewatched lolirocks because it's been years since i saw it and because i have a bad memory, i forget stuff easily if i don't watch/read them a few times.

I still like it to this day, even if the plot is a little slow to develop. I wish that Gramorr felt more threatening, that one episode where they had to fight him would have been better if they made him really powerful. That even their most powerful spell would barely phase him and that way show us why they really need the crown of Ephedia to destroy him.

My favorite characters are the twins and especially Mephisto. I also wish they had small victories more often to make them look more threatening.

I don't dislike any character in this show, my only complaint is that i prefer amaru in his Pegasus form, so i wanted to see him more often in his flying form.

Coming back to the twins, it's cruel to show us in the last 3 episodes how much they care for echother, only to end up separated in the last episode. Praxina getting away from a toxic life and having a chance to start a new one. But when she saw how distressed her brother was without her, at the time a stranger to her because she lost her memories, she still decideds to become evil again to stay at his side.

Mephisto, who would do anything to get her sister back, even if it means working with his enemies. It happens not only in 1 epsiode, but in a few ones (when Praxina gets eaten by her own monster, when she gets turned to stone, etc.)

The last episode ending with Praxina as the main villain was so good. The twins always balanced eachother out, Mephisto being less cruel than Praxina, he even mentioned to Iris he would have loved working for her if the circumstances were different . But now that he is gone and Praxina is griving, there is no one to stop her anymore if she goes too far.

I still hope for a 3 season, because i want to see unhinged Praxina. If we get another season, i hope there will be an episode were Praxina torments Nathaniel to get back at Iris.

i imagine the mother to have been a really sick woman, but a good mother nonetheless. the father.... i think he was a piece of shit. maybe not physically abusive but definetly neglectful or not very present and only looking out for his own interests. some anger issues for sure
