Eh, I was unharmed, and from what little the cops would share, apparently the guy got ran off when someone came in from a late night shift.

They’re Psychologists and whatever the hell else. I guess my inheritance insurance includes therapy or something, since the doctors seem insistent on checking on me daily.

According to the cops, and the doctors, it’s just me. The guy apparently broke into and made it up the first flight of stairs before trying my door, THEN someone came in after him and ran him off.

I don’t wanna watch the footage, and the doctors both said that I can take all the time I need to work up the courage. Until then, I’m staying inside 24/7.

I’m not scared, particularly. I’m more,,,irritated?? It’s just people being people, and they’re annoying by default. Like, yeah, of course my unit would get targeted by some rando.

Everything’s alright, been busy as of late.

Someone broke into my apartment complex (not my unit thankfully) so the police went door to door questioning everyone, and since I have a doorbell cam, I caught footage of the guy.

I handed the footage over, obviously, I haven’t heard anything back from the cops but they did place me under protective surveillance and I’m now getting visits from some doctors.

I didn’t even check my footage, I just pulled the app up, in front of the cops, and sent them the link of my most recent video log. Idk who it could’ve been breaking into the building that was so dangerous that the cops are placing me under surveillance.

Maybe some big shot criminal tried to target my unit but couldn’t get in? I dunno.

It’s whatever.

Hey, in my defense, water is only good if it's ice cold! I hate room temp water (he knows this) and my thermos I usually drink from is broken, so now I have to go out and get a new one :/

On another note, Yipper here (my newly appointed nickname for 🦊 anon) was the one who helped me work through the process of doing my hair at home for the first time! He also suggested the toner I used, seeing as he's in cosmetology school.

Everything's all right! I've actually been chatting with someone!

🦊 anon ended up reaching out because he was concerned by my lack of posts, and we've kinda been talking at each other ever since. I think he reached out on the 3rd of the month?? Anyways, I've been a little busy with some stuff around the house. I ended up rearranging my living room and buying a new couch, my last one had a pretty bad tear in it.

Oh, I also changed my hair color! I ended up redoing my ends and toning it all over, so instead of a brassy pink color it's now closer to white-ish. I'm trying my best to leave my roots alone so my hair grows back in a bit healthier, my poor hair has definitely seen better days, ahaha...

I've considered it! I'm tempted to travel north for a little bit once it gets really hot down here. It gets sweltering hot really quickly, so I'm thinking a summer trip to a chiller place would be fun. I'm thinking Indiana since I have an old friend from highschool that moved up there.

It was alright, pretty uneventful. I made some stir-fry ramen with pork. Didn't even realize yesterday was April fool's until way later into the day. I used to be a big prankster every year, but that's obviously changed.

I actually used to do a bit of scrapbooking too! Kind of out of time for it since school's been going, though. Maybe I'll need to start again when I get home from my trip.

I’ll always advocate for scrapbooking!! It doesn’t have to be neat or aesthetically pleasing, it just has to make you happy when you look at it! Most of my scrapbook pages are messy and weird to look at but I love them because they reflect a part of me.

I recommend starting at a local convenience store for your basic supplies and then working up to book stores from there! It’s better to start really, really cheap (in my opinion) that way if a supply doesn’t work out or you simply don’t like it, you don’t have to stress about wasting money!

You're doing great with interacting dw hehe. It can be a lot tho so don't feel pressured to answer right away!! And yeah sorry didn't mean to overstep with the writing thing. The printer at my uni sucks ass too and the library one is soooo expensive so I've had to sneakily use the one at work to print off my documents for clinicals sigh.

Ah, you didn’t overstep! I just don’t think my writing is really worth sharing. And, yeah, I’ve avoided the library printers for similar reasons. It’s not that I can’t pay for it, I just think it’s outrageous to charge so much for something as commonly needed as printing.

I’ll probably always answer as soon as I get asks, unless I’m asleep. It’s exciting, having people to talk to! I’m not used to it.

Ohh you write?? Do you wanna share any~ And scrapbooking!! that's such a sick hobby! I've always wanted to get into it but i just don't think i have the like creative planning to do more than one page :/ I bet the photography and scrapbooking make a great combo tho!!

Ehhh, I'm not sure if I'll ever feel comfortable sharing my writing. As for scrapbooking, it takes me a while to finish a full page. What I tend to do is set up each page I do with a specific theme, then I add stickers and whatnot to that page until it's completely full. I haven't ever added physical photographs to my scrapbook pages yet, mostly because a printer is too much work to deal with and I'm not fond of going to the local library to use an ancient printer that only works 10% of the time.

It's kinda a long story. I had a tendency to burn things as a kid, and there was this one time I actually burned some field grass, to the point my parents had to call the fire department to open a nearby hydrant and flood our yard.

I also have accidentally burned myself several times. I'm not normally clumsy, I swear!

Cooking isn't really my thing. I'm more of a baker kind of guy myself :)

Aha, thanks you for the compliments!! I wish I had the patience and motor skills to bake, I feel like the second I try to measure absolutely anything, my hands start to twitch and jerk around.

I did discover that I really like making no-bake desserts, though! I made lemon possets the other day, they were really good! I just wish I could trust myself enough with a blow torch to torch the top of the cream :(

I do a lot to keep myself occupied! As far as full blown hobbies go, I like to write and scrapbook a lot. I cook too but that’s more because I have a massive appetite, ahaha.

Pretty much anything to do with putting thoughts to paper, I’ll do it. I’m always thinking about something, so sometimes I really need a good venting session, or I just have a short story idea stuck in my head.

Oh nice!! That's basically what I do as well. I'm not a big fan of editing (ignore that I took two photography classes..) but yeah, no I totally get the whole "no patience" thing!

Ah, thank you!! I took art classes back in high school, so most of my work is just me trying to remember what I was taught ^^’

Hi! I usually just take pictures and leave them alone. Occasionally I'll crop them and fix the exposure/brilliance on them, but other than that, I'm not privy to editing pictures. I dunno how to and I lack the patience to learn :/
