Peaceful Release Spell
A lot of us have been in a position where we need to part with someone, but still want the best for them. Maybe they're an ex who you can't stop thinking about but still wish them the best, or a friend who you've forgiven but aren't willing to invite back into your life.
If you're finding yourself in a position like this, and setting boundaries with them isn't working the way you wish it would, you may want to try this beginner-friendly, easy bay leaf peaceful release spell.
What you will need:
A bay leaf (For setting intentions)
A bit of apple (Healing, Friendship, Love)
A pen/marker
A tall place with a decent breeze
How to cast:
Before you leave your home, write their name on the bay leaf and cleanse your ingredients as well as yourself. Prepare yourself for setting boundaries and understand that you're doing what is best for you.
Go to a tall place on a windy day, and set your intention to peacefully release the person. You'll want this place to be windy and high enough so that the bay leaf will be carried far away from you when you toss it. The further it goes, the more effective the results.
After setting your intentions, take a bit of your apple and gently rub a bit of apple juice onto the ends of the bay leaf. Apples can help manifest healing, and they also invoke feelings of friendship and care - this will assure the spell is cast in a friendly manner.
Stand a safe distance from the edge, and gently toss the bay leaf into the wind. Watch it whisk away, and try to imagine it carrying away your desire to stay in touch with them. Say your goodbyes.
Just like that, you've performed a spell that will help encourage you to release someone from your life with nothing but the best intentions for them. It's a safe, easy spell; one that I've used several times myself.
As always, be safe with your practicing, and make sure you're working with cleansed ingredients and space. Blessed be everyone.
