The first time the Department of Impossible Cuteness encountered the kawaii creations of a Japanese food and craft blogger named Caroline, she’d made an adorable batch of cat-shaped éclairs. Now she’s celebrating summer with an adorable clowder of wide-eyed Summer Cat (and kitten) Cakes peering into and pawing at a gelatin block pool full of colorful candy fish. One of the kitties might’ve already eaten a fish or two, because it’s fast asleep while everyone else appears to be moments away from pouncing on the pool.
