Meet Anthony Walker, a ghost who is eternally thirty-one years old; he’s been trapped in the Murder House since his death in 1974…
♫♪ “On your way back home again. A good Samaritan, you see a man stuck in the rain. Stranded with no friends and from the goodness of your heart, you saved him from the flood. A couple miles down the road, he’s covered in your blood.” [ ► ]
I have long stopped asking why the mad do mad things…
• Humorous: causing lighthearted laughter and amusement; comic.
• Obsessive: to become fixated on a particular thing or person.
• Cunning: having or showing skill in achieving one’s ends by deceit or evasion.
It’s a filthy world we live in, it’s a filthy goddamn helpless world…
Anthony Walker never really belonged anywhere. From the moment he hit sixteen, he severed himself from his family, from anyone he was close to – and never really allowed himself to stay in anyone’s life for too long. He’d always been that mysterious stranger that made his way through town and before you knew it, he was on to the next. Some could easily describe his lifestyle as careless, but that’s exactly what he aimed to be. Careless. He took life as it was, made his way through the obstacles the world threw his way, but all of that changed the day he decided to hitch a ride from a stranger. His destination was set for San Diego, and he had been resting in Los Angeles for a week or two. He felt himself fortunate to happen upon the seemingly kind stranger he came to know as Richard Sikes.
Everything changed for Anthony the moment he sat himself in Ricky’s car. For when he buckled that seat belt, he practically sealed his fate. Little did Anthony know that he had gotten in a car with a madman, a cannibalistic psychopath known to use charm and persuasion to get what he wanted. A quick stop at his house was all the man asked, he needed to freshen up for the drive to San Diego, he told Anthony. Naturally, the man didn’t think anything of it. He’d found someone to help him out, but when Anthony found himself stepping into Ricky’s place of residence… Los Angeles’ infamous Murder House, Anthony’s gut twisted with a feeling that screamed something wasn’t quite right.
After being hit in the back of the head with a baseball bat when he let his guard down, the rest of the story is a bit of a blur to Anthony… though being dragged into the basement, propped up on an operating table, and disemboweled isn’t exactly something one wants to remember. That day, Anthony became Ricky’s third and final victim of his acts of cannibalism in the Murder House… and he couldn’t love the title more.
Most would resent their killer, despise them and hate them with everything they had left – but that’s not the case with Anthony. In fact, he’s weaseled his way into becoming quite good friends with the cannibal that took his life and made a meal of that shell of a body he had been lugging around. He’s not particularly fond of being trapped in the Murder House for all eternity… especially now that it houses a bunch of party crazed teenagers and college students. But he’s one to make the most of what he’s been given, even in death. He can be considered the disturbing comic relief of the house, making morbid jokes here and there and generally making those around him feel uncomfortable with how blunt he can be regarding their situations, and at the end of the day he’ll always be laughing it off.
Are you sure you want to be alone? They say this house is haunted…
Richard Sikes: From the moment Ricky died by the hand of his almost fourth victim, Anthony was the first one to pop up by his side and offer a hand in help when it came to the whole ’you’re a ghost’ thing. It’s somewhat obvious that Anthony has developed a bit of an obsession with Ricky, and likes to consider himself his side kick. He’s not opposed to dying repeatedly for the other spirit’s amusement, either. As long as he’s getting attention from the cannibal who killed him, he’s happy.
Gregory Smith: Gregory was the first victim in which Ricky bound to the Murder House, and needless to say… Anthony is a little bit jealous that he gets the hold the title, especially since he appears to be so ungrateful about it. Anthony enjoys antagonizing this spirit every chance he gets, though he never lets it get too far. He leaves the rest for Ricky to handle.
Peyton Harper: Anthony doesn’t mind this young lady at all, in fact – her fascination with studying the dead has captivated him. He enjoys bragging about Ricky to her, even if she’s not particularly fond of the cannibal… that doesn’t stop him from bringing up the ghost every chance he gets. Little does he know, she’s a woman who knows how to use her knowledge on people well.
Christine Winters: Lovely Christine, Richard’s second victim. Though Anthony has yet to meet the girl, he knows all about her. About how she used to be a model, about how she’s the only female victim of Ricky’s trapped in the Murder House, and about how much she seems to care for Greg. He’s still trying to figure out what to do with all of this information, though… waiting for a time where it could be useful.
Nathaniel Greer: Another spirit that Anthony has yet to actually meet face to face, the ghost most call ‘Shadow’ has been spotted once or twice by the man, on his visits into the basement when looking for Ricky. He thinks the ghost takes himself way too seriously, being so reclusive – and he wants to lure him out of his shell, unfortunately… the only way Anthony really knows how to do that is by poking fun at the other man.
Anthony is portrayed by Jensen Ackles, and is currently open.
