for real!
Over a 100???? It was just the guy in the photo a couple days ago djsjdjks
no but jokes aside this is actually really great. malicious compliance in the best way.
here's a quote from a Pink News article about this that really stuck with me:
Elia Bonci, who also spoke to la Repubblica, said: âI took courage, used my deadname and signed up for Miss Italy because fighting transphobia is intersectional and even though Iâm not a trans woman, Iâve decided to fight for their rights.â
the whole point is to show how "afab" being used as a replacement for woman is fucking stupid and fundamentally incorrect and. whatever else. and it gives me hope to see the community rising up like this. solidarity and unity and peace on planet earth.
It's been over 2 years now since top surgery. Never before did I dare to dream that I would get to live this life đĽ°
âIâm becoming who I am and itâs the scariest thing Iâve ever done.â Posted from the PostSecret website.
(important to note: the postcard includes a chemical formula pasted next to the message. the chemical is testosterone.)
It's my 5 year anniversary on Tumblr đĽł
Still here and queerer than ever đ
Love the argument "oh but if you transition you'll have to deal with being trans your whole life" because first of all there is nothing bad about being trans and second I'm still gonna be trans even if I don't medically transition I'll just be trans and miserable instead of trans and happy
Every time I hear someone say something like this I remember that one exerpt from that one book in which the author considers Gomez Addams as a trans man specifically because he has the energy of a guy who wakes up every day absolutely over the moon to discover that he gets to be a man with a family and a moustache and a wife who's taller than god yet again, and it becomes painfully apparent that people who say these things don't understand transness at all.
EDIT: I found it! Here it is!
An excerpt from the essay âPowerful T4T Energy in Steve Martinâs The Jerkâ by Daniel M. Lavery, from his book Something That May Shock and Discredit You.
Absolutely amazing addition I love this and personally I can't wait to be proudly trans for the rest of my life!
Billy Lane, winner of the Seattle Mr. Leather contest in 1998 and first trans man to compete in the International Mr. Leather contest.
I think this might be one of the funniest replies to a post on here that Iâve ever seen
"I wanna look like what I am but don't know what someone like me looks like.
I mean, when people look at me I want them to think-- there's one of those people that reasons, that is a philosopher, that has their own interpretation of happiness.
That's what I am."
-Lou Sullivan "We Both Laughed in Pleasure"

Text of poem:
Make Out Sonnet
The first time I saw two men kissing, I was six, Living in 1970s L.A. My mom took care Of an elderly woman who found herself in a fix And moved into a complex of all men, bare Chested men, with cutoff jeans and tinted glasses. My motherâs friend gave me chocolates that matched Her skin - this must be heaven. These sonsâ asses Peeked out beneath their shorts, but watched Over her better than mom. Took donations for heat, A sofa and a new wig - all changed her mood. They even did her laundry. They did sweet Better than honey. Did family better than blood. And between duties, two men always off alone So desire, like the dishes, could also get done.
OBSESSED WITH THIS POEM BY DRI CHIU TATTERSFIELD
I'm not crying you're crying
đđđ I found this book on trans elders and the very first page had me like tearing up at work
STRONG case for independence. we can try to make life better but england can always just say no
also she's absolutely trying to sneak this past us while everyone is distracted by the queen
Such an important thing to hope for
update: this is a fantastic quote and im so glad it resonates with so many people. that being said i was totally unprepared to have my tumblr notifications constantly light up my phone at all hours and for the app to say i have 99+ notes every time i look at it. this has gotten nearly 14k notes in 12 days. not at all complaining, truly couldnt be more thrilled. or overwhelmed.

If youâre new here, I make comics like these out of my anger and I definitely been triggered this week. Iâve already said so much on Twitter but I can say it again; I wasnât surprised with the cishets shitting their pants over a cartoon, but Iâm more disappointed in the lgbtq community that is filled with transphobic cis people. And even if youâre trans, you donât get to dictate and say âlol we donât look like thisâ when there are many trans people who ABSOLUTELY look like Barney. You donât get to make people feel bad for resonating with him thereâs literally never been a plus size trans character and your response was to make others miserable. NOT EVERY TRANS PERSON HAS A MODELâS BODY IF THATâS YOUR STANDARD ON TRANSNESS YOUâRE AN ASSHOLE. Also wanting acceptance and validation doesnât make us self-centered. That is the worst assumption you could ever put on us when our lives are being threatened especially this year. Itâs not too much to ask. Anyway.. please go watch Dead End: Paranormal Park; the showâs renewal all depends on your support, itâs a really cute horror show with great lgbtq rep and an autistic poc protag!
