Tea Party Hicks
Tea Party Rally Fizzles in South Carolina
Though as many as 2,000 people were expected at a Tea Party rally in South Carolina, just 30 showed up after Donald Trump cancelled his appearance with Gov. Nikki Haley (R), according to the Columbia State. The picture from the rally is priceless.
theatlantic:
Tea party polling has been an inexact science, and data like these have been used to count (inaccurately) how many people are involved in the movement. Pollsters have gotten more specific at times, asking whether people are members of tea parties, and then asking those people what they think of things, but even self-identification doesnât seem too reliable to me. What this suggests, however, is that the movement has lost some of its draw. Iâm not one to overblow the sampled responses of 1,504 adults reached by phone between Feb. 22 and March 1 (which is what these numbers reflect), even if Pew is one of the more respected polling entities around. But agreement with the movementâand whatever it signifies to each individual respondentâhas dropped by more than a third since September, according to PewâŠand that seems to be saying something.

cajunboy:
Of all the jaw-on-the-floor videos taken at tea party rallies and protests and such, this is by far the most revolting Iâve seen. Like, stomach-turning, blood pressure rising revolting. Ladies and gentleman, this is the tea party at its worst.

SRSLY?
All hail Obama! Our Communist Islamic Terrorist King!
Also look at the âTerroristâ part, doesnât it look like itâs a separate piece of paper that was added on. I think it says âTerristâ underneath, then his wife walked in on him making the sign and said âOh honey, no.â
-Joe
Heâs right, I am sure that at least 90% of the tea baggers have no idea that their organization is not a grass roots movement that they helped form. If you show them every document, e-mail, check. etc. showing that it was created out of whole cloth by the minions of the Bros. Koch, they would say it is a lie. They are pawns by definition, because they are completely at the beck and call of another intelligence and are unable to be aware of it.
George E. Mills, Jr. on Tea party activists are âpawnsâ to corporate interests, Clinton says
Anyone who understands economics and what Fox News, the primary promoters of Tea Party Events, is about, this has been very obvious for over a year.
As a partisan figure with no office to seek, itâs obvious that Clinton is a pol doing what all surrogates do here: delivering the negative message.
