“Because the truth is, tech doesn’t have an image problem. It doesn’t have a message problem. It has an intention problem. What’s wrong with the axe murderer who broke into my house is not that he hasn’t successfully persuaded me to buy into his narrative. What’s wrong is that he’s trying to kill me with an axe. Similarly, when you launch a product that’s designed to put millions of people out of work, block access to sources of verifiable truth, replace human creativity with slop, and lower the barriers to every sort of atrocity, the problem isn’t that you haven’t told the public a good story about those things. The problem is that you are trying to do them.”
— The 40 Most Rage-Inducing Problems in Tech
Everyone should be aware of nitter.net
for any address to twitter you can replace the “x.com” with “nitter.net” and you will be able to browse as if you have an account. Lifesaver.
Similarly, imginn.com works for most Instagram addresses. I still haven’t found one for Facebook.

Every comic we publish takes a lot of steps, from the initial scraggly idea to the final post. There's the sketching, the inking, the coloring, the writing, the rewriting, the "is this even funny?" crisis at 2 AM, and the sacred final click on the ol' publish button on our tried and true website.
We do this every single week because we love it and because you show up to read it.
And the best part: With the help of Patreon, we can turn that thing we love doing into something we can actually live off of. If you'd like to be part of that, we'd be honored.

I’ve never once had a single goddamn DIME in student loans, and I still think debt should be 100% forgiven.
Americans would agree this is a good thing, but there’s a massive ethical problem in the US… people hate each other.
And I mean HATE. If you’re not from the US, talk to Americans sometime about how much their state hates people from other states. I’m from Texas - either I hear Texans never shut the fuck up about how much they hate other states, or I hear people from other states never shut the fuck up about how much they hate Texans
Hate is an american way of life. Punishment, sadism, making sure everyone suffers as a default is how this country operates. Our economy is a sham held up by poverty and extreme debt. Why won’t anyone talk about forgiving said debts? Because they both a. know the ENTIRE COUNTRY is built on people suffering from debt and poverty and we literally won’t exist as the same country if we actually idk TAKE CARE of people, and b. they want suffering.
The suffering’s IT, actually. Most of these people throwing online tantrums and crying about 10k in debt relief for a MINOR handful of Americans? They don’t care about the economic impact, they just WANT. SUFFERING.
America isn’t America if its citizens are happy, fed, clothed, and housed.
America isn’t America without children signing up to either die in war or be saddled with hundreds of thousands in debt (with out of control interest rates and no bankruptcy relief)
America isn’t America if the poor and middle class aren’t kicking down at those in extreme poverty, pointing and laughing and saying “well I’m better than that guy so he doesn’t deserve ANY help, otherwise it isn’t FAIR, what about ME”
America is for the cruel and selfish. Period.
YES TO ALL THIS. Cause what else do you expect from a country founded on slavery and genocide, Two oppressive system perpetuated by white people? Hatred, dehumanization and suffering is in the very foundation of this shithole, and it’s never gonna improve because the foundation is rotten. Don’t ever leave race out of the equation, because economic oppression follows the same axis as racial oppression. Black Americans, people descended from the enslaved Africans whose uncompensated labor built this country, have only been free-ish since 1968?

learn to recognize and denounce hostile architecture. often it's disguised as "artistic design", but they just want to be cruel to homeless people.
