ℛ -- Rei had always felt stiff around Rin. It was out of habit, but Rei was determined to break it.

"Ah, Rin-san. May I have a word?"

「ℵ」╼ They half-jogged to the station in the end, not having much time left as they arrived. “Hm…what I want to cook ?” he repeated, tilting his head as he pondered with a loud hum.

Right then their train arrived and they got in, Nagisa settling on one of the benches, his school bag on the ground between his legs.

"Let’s see, last time I tried to do fried eggs but those didn’t go so well, did they ? Ah, what about salad ! I sure can’t set anything on fire with that !" he laughed, looking up to Rei. "And while I’m cutting you can try and teach me Calc.

To be honest, Nagisa mostly just used learning as an excuse to spend time with Rei. He knew the other was pretty concentrated on school and all, so he thought it would be the best way. His classmate was interessting to the blonde and he wanted to know as much about him as possible.

"Nee nee, Rei-chan, do you know what you will do in the summer break yet ?" he asked, his legs swinging a bit. "How about we go camping with the others ? Doesn’t that sound fun ?!"

ℛ -- The train came, its mechanic frame halting with a drawn out screech. Rei let Nagisa bound onto the train, before picking his seat beside him. When it was this late in the day, Rei had the chance to sit down. The mornings were another story.

<span>At the memory of Nagisa cooking eggs, Rei offered little more than a displeased face, before adjusting his frames.

"Salad? Ah, that sounds reasonable." And it fits in with dietary requirements. He was pleased with the idea, in truth. And it also meant that the risk of something burning or catching fire was very unlikely. Though, Nagisa did have a habit of somehow causing trouble when there shouldn't be any...

"Hmm? Ah, perhaps." Rei gave a small smile. In truth he hadn't considered what we was going to do for summer. Camping seemed like a nice idea, especially with friends. But there was so much work to be done.

ℛ -- How he had managed to misplace his tie was beyond him. But he was running the risk of being late should he keep searching for it.

"But it won't be a complete uniform..."

「ℵ」╼ “Great ! I promise I won’t set the pan on fire this time, hehe.” he grinsed, scratching his cheek lightly. Last time he had made a mess out of the kitchen and as he wanted to put out the small fire with water it had just made things worst. Good thing Nagisa had been able to stay calm.

"Yes yes, let’s just get going !" the blonde demanded, really not in the mood to hear about this stuff. There was a time and place for Calc but directly after school, just having left the school building definitly wasn’t it. "Come on, Rei-chan !" He tugged him along on his arm, waving Haru and Makoto who had set off in the opposite direction. "We better hurry or we won’t be able to catch our train."

ℛ -- Rei really didn't want to be reminded of that time. He needed new pans still, actually. 

In the middle of his thoughts and calculus rambling, he stopped as Nagisa interrupted, indignantly huffing as he was dragged along. But the blond had a point. The train would be arriving in less than four minutes!

A stickler for time, Rei forced the subject to rest, and gave a half rushed goodbye to the other two Iwatobi swimmers, before being lead away by Nagisa.

The train station was mostly empty now. Nearly everyone had gone home, but those that still lingered talked casually among each other.

"Nagisa-kun? What did you plan on cooking once you got to my house?"
