embodying yeye energy is becoming the muvaship
Oshun is an African Goddess that became popular over the past few years since black women have been diving deeper into self and as a result discovering African spirituality and how it can benefit us but there are so many other African Goddess who we can learn from and who ancestors like Nanny and Nzinga embodied. We can use them as a guide to tapping into feminine energies in a balanced way….a divine way.
Goddess + Attributes:
Yemaya ~ Nurtures, mother, defender Sekhmet ~ Warrior, healer, change Aja ~ Bush woman, heals, mystic Oya ~ Mystic, Oracle, protector Kai Ma ~ transforms, protects, revelation Inanna ~ love, creativity, transformation Oshun ~ sensuality, creativity, love

I wish you all a Happy New Year as we’re leaving Tiger for Rabbit (Japan celebrations are a bit early, Lunar year will officially begin on January 22). 2022 was once again pure chaos, I don’t have much hope for a quieter 2023, but let’s hold on together!!!

This Shinto shrine is famous for having komausagi (guardians rabbits) instead of the usual komainu (guardian dog/lion):

Big Yikes. I work part time for them in addition to working for UPMC, I think he is missing the mark. People are just tired of working hard for nothing. Going to school for nothing. Living their entire life with a few cents more than nothing. They are finding other ways to support themselves and families outside the status quo.
