LOKI COSTUME (TDW)
Every fashionable quasi-Asgardian needs to accessorise with an ear cuff and a pair of ravens. ✨

LOKI - FROST GIANT
pyreshe:
livvy’s smile is a small and tentative thing. she half expects this to be some kind of trap. that they’re going to pull the rug out from under her. instead she holds out her pinkie finger solemnly, “ swear? “
Loki smiles -- a warm, gentle, kindly smile that folds up around his eyes -- and hooks his pinky in hers with a solemn nod. He’s never taken an oath lightly, and he’s not planning to start now. “ I swear. ”
pyreshe:
“ i try to not tell adults they’re wrong to their faces anymore. no one likes a smart ass. “
“ I like smartasses. And honesty. I mean most people definitely don’t, but consider this permission to tell me I’m wrong. ”
Normalize rpers following each other to enjoy each others writing and headcanons. Normalize interacting in a, 'you are cool and this thing you write is too!' without the stigma of, if you follow another role player your muses must interact to enjoy each other on the dash. Of course we enjoy writing - that is why we are here - but I do also enjoy my fellow rpers and their content even if we aren't.
When your brain tells you to design another Loki costume, you obey, right? 😜 I’ve always loved the Jotunheim costume from the first film, so I took inspiration from the silhouette of that one, especially the skirt. Like Loki, this look is many -layered, and I played with the idea of areas of the plain leather being pulled back to reveal the more intricate pieces of green, which are held together with strips of gold.

The Avengers (2012)
My favorite Loki scenes ↦ II.
I love that we get to see him showcase his fighting abilities. I think a major misconception about Loki is that he’s not as good of a warrior as his brother. While he might not have brute strength like Thor, he is agile, cunning, and his movements are precise. He doesn’t need to rely on his magic, he‘s deadly all on his own.
not to be boring but I like when evil characters.... well not become “redeemed,” more like they become domesticated. its just delightful when like an evil monstrous little bastard man goes from committing murder to getting mad someone misplaced their costco card or left the jar of mayo on the counter all day.
I just needed to preserve these tags. For reasons.
me, staring wistfully off at the misty highlands with a cup of tea : when will my write return from the war
like if I can’t find inspiration here can i even call myself a writer ??? wtf ????

Run faster! Come on! Faster! Keep going!
The words kept racing around and around in her mind as she sped through the dark greenery of the forest, following closely behind her brother. What she was able to verbalize, however, was simply a constant stream of, “Shit! Shit! Shitshitshit!”
The words were swallowed by the fog and moss coating the forest and overpowered by the cracking of trees that was quickly becoming too close for comfort. What feels like ages go by before the landscape begins to clear. The rushing water is soon the only thing she can hear. Loki’s dark shape disappears off the rocky edge and reappears down on the shore. There’s zero hesitation as she follows her brother and launches herself from the ledge of the cliff, over the river, and crashes into his arms on the other side.
A roar echoes off the trees as the beast paces but makes no attempt to follow across the running water. Laerke drops her head against Loki’s chest while she tries to catch her breath.
“Okay, okay, you win. No more shortcuts.”
With her head pressed against his chest, Laerke can certainly hear the hammering of her brother’s heart -- less from the exertion than from the sheer rush of panic. It takes a while for his breath to slow, and in that time he clings to his little sister with focused desperation, though his eyes never leave the creature that snarls at them from the clifftop.
He won’t say ‘ I told you so. ’ It wouldn’t do any good, and anyway, she has already admitted that he was right. Even if he had managed to convince her to listen to him this time, there would be no guarantee that he could do so again ; now that she has had a brush with death, she might think twice about ignoring his warnings next time.
When their breathing has evened and their pursuer gone in search of easier prey, Loki finally unwinds his arms from around his sister and takes her instead by the shoulders, eyes sweeping over her for any sign of injury.
“ I think it’s gone, ” he sighs. “ It didn’t touch you, did it ? You’re not hurt ? ”
I haven’t done watercolours in actual years so getting used to them again is a little rough, but have a Loki-in-progress
