"Well aren't you charming? I'm there girl who can't seem to stop runnin' into you, I have at least three times today."

"Oh please. Don’t act like you don’t enjoy my presence."
"As much as I enjoy our little banter from time to time, it's starting to occur a little too often. Don't ya think?"
"Someone has to come bring you food once in and a while, right?"
"Fair point, I'd probably consume myself with work and ignore the hunger if it wasn't for you."
"God, you can't seem to stay away from me, can you?"
Responding to her applause with a little mock bow of his own, Grayson flashed a biting smirk, before laughing. “Hey now, can’t a guy just take life one step at a time? I can’t work miracles after all, and I think this accident free past month might have just been a fluke.”
She jokingly frowned at the man, before her lips returned the generally small smile that she usually wore. "Let's hope not. I'm hoping you'll have many injury free months ahead of you. It would make me a very happy redhead."
"Oh, really? Well, thanks for that."
"Well, yeah. Cute gal, cute nickname, quite fitting. It's no problem, really. Anyways, monitor that gash and change the bandage daily. You should see results of healing in a couple of days."
Pushing himself to a stand with a laugh, Grayson pulled his sleeve back down, glancing up the woman. “Believe me, if I could manage that it would make everyone’s job easier. You should be proud though. This was the first incident I’ve had in at least a month.”
She gave the man a mock round of applause and a little smile. "Is it, now? Well done, I am completely and utterly proud of you, really. You know what would make me even prouder, though? If you'd limit these incidents to monthly occurrences, rather than weekly ones. That would be quite wonderful."
Grayson returned her stare, remaining silent for a moment before his lips pulled up in a smirk. “Be careful what you say, Sweetheart. Those would be some famous final words.” Releasing an irritated sigh, Grayson’s other hand immediately went to the wrapped gauze when she was finished, giving the bandage a small tug to adjust it, before he shook his head. “You’re probably right. It’s a shame we don’t always do what’s for the best. Though it’s not like those things aren’t easier said than done anyway.”
Loralee gave a quick little nod. "You're right, most things are easier said than done. Despite that, though, some things are worth giving a shot to achieve. Because, I mean, as much as I'm enjoying our little banter here, I'd prefer you to make it through a week or two without gettin' your ass handed to you. Makes my job easier, and, well, just makes things easier in general."
"Nah, never been fond of being called Caitlyn. Anything shorter or other than that works totally fine. Thanks."
"I'll stick with Cait then, it's cute. Which makes it quite fitting for you."

Thank god... not to mean, if what I thought happened would have happened with you would have been completely horrible, just - you know what, I'm just gonna stop talking now.
"Oh dear god, what happened last night? What did we do?"
"It is unique, definitely. I don’t think I’ve ever met any other Loralees." Cait offered her a smile, nodding. "Yeah. Short for Caitlyn, but I haven’t been called that in years. Hate it, personally."
"Well, your actual name and nickname are both equally darling, but if you're not fond of being called by your actual name, I'll definitely be sure to stir clear of it as much as possible. I'll just stick with Cait."
"I dunno, I seem to get more excited about it every year. Then again, I am just a big kid at heart. I think it’s because Hollie’s getting bigger every year and she’s starting to understand it more, it makes it more fun for both of us. Loralee? I dunno, I think that’s a pretty nice name. I’m Cait, by the way."
"It's decent enough, I'll give it that, even a bit unique. I mean, how many Loralees do you meet? Not many. Despite it all, though, I've never been a huge fan of it. Cait, huh? That's pretty, is it short for something?"
