I told myself 'just a quick lineart, nothing fancy'"' and then my ADHD took over... It's actually an illustration WIP of an upcoming chapter from The Birch Tree House, the fanfiction I'm working on atm..

Just a little bit of that kidnapped!Valery fic I mentioned earlier (previously the hostage!fic). It gets dark, and weird because I like sci fi.

Summary: It’s after the Vienna conference when now infamous scientist Valery Legasov goes missing, disappearing without a trace overnight and sending waves through out the international community. While Boris Shcherbina and Ulana Khomyuk search for their missing companion to clear his name of treason that he now bared, they get exoneration from an unwanted source – a single photo of Valery, staring blankly at the camera and slouching on a red mattress; he had been kidnapped.

i rewatched HBO's chernobyl miniseries last night and there was something about these two that i noticed during my last rewatch (ive rewatched these five episodes like a million times lol)
