I can’t help but notice that the sports stuff in the Mario Bros’ home tends to be Mario themed/color coded.

I can’t imagine Luigi– being fairly athletic himself– would want to be left entirely out of Mario’s hobbies. It is possible he’s just better at storing his equipment, but I like to think he took on a different role in high school sports, such as the guy in the giant mascot costume, or… perhaps… a male cheerleader.

knight luigi stuff:

luigi became a knight mostly because mario became one. and he wanted to stand beside his bro - kinda like how he also becomes a part of the plumbing business in the movies even tho it seems almost entirely mario's idea

he loves gardening (of course) - a knight who loves his plants and animals 🥹🥹

that being said he is a very gentle and kind knight. probably the kindest knight in the entire kingdom

the three most important people in his life: mario, bowser, and polterpup

he actually doesn't like using the sword <//3 but it's for the image

however he is skilled with a bow and arrow 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️

mario actually being the one to like wielding a sword and luigi a bow and arrow...

bc it's mushroom kingdom standards that the picture of a royal knight should be of a shield and sword. but luigi's never felt comfortable using a sword - he is more calculating and patient when it comes to using a weapon, like an archer. and his skillfulness with a bow and arrow also allows him to be quick when he needs to be.

whereas mario likes facing danger and other problems head first.

and maybe luigi has been hiding his archery skills while in the darklands - hiding behind the excuse "no one asked". but when bowser finds out he's actually really good with the longbow... WOOF

A sequence of events I noticed during the Super Mario Galaxy Movie final battle

1. Junior throws his spear. While it flies through the air, you can see Dry Bowser making a beeline toward Mario and getting scarily close.

2. After the spear lands the camera focuses in Mario who is distracted by the weapon, but Dry Bowser is strangely absent.

3. The camera zooms out again as Junior goes in for the attack, and–
