Greetings, people of Tumblr. As you may or may not know, I am Lord Klint van Zieks, eldest of the van Zieks family, once the lord of the manor.

Right. But now that the young lady has brought it up, I should explain what I, a ghost of the 19th century, am doing on a social media platform of the 21st century. The truth is, I never moved on. And so, I wander from place to place, because quite frankly, being a ghost is boring. I accidentally entered this young woman's abode, and due to a series of unexpected mishaps-

I'm sorry- It's honestly too weird and funny- Apparently my friend's Jnoun Vision Pro Max got passed to me so I was able to see him. We both panicked and screamed, and he flew into my PC, and now he's here.

Yes, well- It was her idea to have me open an... 'Askblog' on Tumblr. I am intrigued by this practice, so I decided to try it. So please, go ahead and ask me whatever you'd like!

hello!! hope you're well :D I was wondering, since you seem to watch over Iris, what about your brother? is he doing alright? what do you think of him now?

Yes, I am well, thank you.

As for my brother, yes, I watch over him as well.

He's... Doing the best he could in these circumstances, I think. He has held on to his morals and beliefs better than I did. I am proud of him for making it through all this, truly. He has grown into a fine young man, all things considered. Some of his thoughts, I am concerned and upset by, but... That is my fault, for the most part. I... I am greatly saddened to see him shoulder so much. I have caused so much of his pain. He deserved much better. I only hope things can get better for him.

Have you ever been to Sholmes house and check in on things... You know, considering the fact that he's taking care of ur daughter and all that. If yes, what do you think about Sholmes in general or his uh- Living space yk. Do you trust him with Iris???

Ah, hello. It is good to see you again.

As for Mr. Sholmes... Yes, I have been to his living quarters. There is much I have to critique in terms of his living space, and ideally I would not allow my daughter to live in such a messy, dangerous apartment. It is hazardous, and I'm being rather generous with my words, actually.

That said... He has taken good care of my daughter, despite everything. I didn't think it was possible, initially, but he has managed fairly well. Besides which, there is little I can do to contribute to her well-being. Something I... I regret deeply.

In spite of all this, she has grown to be a wonderful young lady. I'm proud of her, truly. I wish her all the best in life.

Oh, more than words can express. She is an absolute angel. I couldn't ask for better, I am blessed to call her mine.

I... Regret she had to deal with the aftermath of my actions. She deserved better, that beautiful soul.

At least she was able to express some of her frustration with that one slap- I sincerely hope it helped, even a little.

anyway, do forgive the rudeness, my lord. i'm scarlett's friend, and the original owner of the jnounvision x pro max. i have NO IDEA how i got that thing in the first place, let alone how it somehow transferred onto her. fyi i live in a whole different country than her, so that makes things a lot more confusing lmao.

my ask is honestly pretty simple. literally HOW is being a ghost boring to you???? you're literally invisible (to most people)- there's like a multitude of schemes that you can pull off as a ghost bruh

There's no need to apologise. Your reaction is understandable, but, wait- she's spoken of me? I suppose that's not too surprising. If I were to encounter a ghost, I'd probably share such a thing with my friends, especially if they knew about these things.

Frankly, I'm surprised people can see and interact with ghosts at all. And I agree, all of this is incredibly strange. I can't make sense of it, either.

As for how it is boring... Originally, it wasn't. And I find some enjoyment in watching the changes in the living. It's just that, when you've been this way for a century or two, it gets tiring. So hopefully, this will bring some excitement in my life- Or afterlife, I suppose.

The 'dawg', as you call him, was simply doing what he was told.

And you're right, what I made Balmung do was... Unforgivable. I was the murderer. I was foolish- no, insane, to do what I did. If I could, I'd go back and make sure I didn't.

As for wanting him, I'm afraid that can't quite be arranged. He's still rather attached to me, which more than I deserve, frankly- and a ghost, besides.
