#artists on tumblr #linoprint #linocut #moths #art #a return to print-making after a few months away from it #this is probably my most elaborate one so far #i spent a lot of hours composing a singular reference image for it by collaging a whole bunch of separate photos and shapes #it really made it feel like my own creation rather than something more adjacent to a study which is how i usually feel about my art #so that's really great 👍#but also ive spent too many hours chiseling away at details so now im still a bit unable to see it as one whole picture #but hopefully in a few days ill be able to look at it and feel satisfied #also i finally got proper printing paper so printing these was so much easier omg
