I must say I wasn't that impressed with the original Foundation trilogy but reading the Prelude to Foundation now... I'm absolutely living for that bat shit crazy family dynamic of a useless mathematician husband with soft smiles, knife wielding historian wife and their Dickens style street urchin son who took one look at the woman who won in a knife duel with the most dangerous man in the area and immediately thought that he wanted to be adopted by her (but also that soft spoken nerd man would teach him how to read)

Honestly, the first movie is more similar to the story of Hiccup Horrendous Haddoc the first and Wondensfangs story, rather than Hiccup the third and toothless'. Or maybe it's the sleep.deprivation in me.
