Imagine Marina being afraid of spiders and flipping the hell out when Nine places a fake spider in her room

(I forgot to post this during the holidays whoops)

Imagine the little Garde learning about Earth holidays on the ship. Imagine them demanding everyone celebrate the ones that they hadn’t missed, and imagine the Cepans agreeing, amusedly.

Imagine little Marina standing on little Eight’s shoulders, struggling to hang decorations on cabinets and shelves. Imagine little Nine running around with streamers trailing behind him, and Sandor chasing him saying, “No, Nine, that’s not what that is used for!” Imagine him later falling after trying to swing on the already-hung streamers.

Imagine One helping the younger Garde write Christmas cards for their Cepans.

Imagine everybody drawing pictures for each other for presents (because they can’t go out and buy new things for anyone), imagine them giving the gifts to their Cepans too, and a couple of them tear up because of the cuteness (Sandor is teased relentlessly by Henri after that, because Nine’s card was fucking adorable). 

Imagine the Garde getting a little extra pudding that night in celebration.

Imagine them then celebrating Valentines Day. Imagine Eight making Marina a card. Imagine Six giving John back the toy she took from him as a gift and peace offering.

Headcanon that Nine is extremely tall. Like six foot eight or something.

Ella is four foot ten, and she likes to ride on his shoulders because it makes her feel tall and confident. Eight constantly cracks jokes about his height, asking him things like “how’s the weather up there?” even though Nine’s only a few inches taller than him.

Imagine Ella dragging Nine to a Taylor Swift concert. At first he acts kind of annoyed but ends up singing along with Ella to every song.

He may or may not have blown their budget on merch while he was there.

Headcanon that Six is obsessed with cats and likes them more than dogs. Vek is the only one who doesn't roll her eyes when Six drags everybody to go pet the cats at petsmart

She brings home a stray cat once and found out later that is was pregnant. There are now more cats than there are Garde living in the penthouse. Six refuses to get rid of them because she’s too attached.

Headcanon that Malcolm thinks that Devektra is an intelligent girl who invests a lot of effort in her line of work with a brilliant mind and innovative ideas.

Imagine Marina discovering Thanksgiving and going all out for it. She makes everyone go food shopping, and makes them all help her prepare dinner. Eight and Nine get lost in the produce isle and accidentally knock over a tower of cans, John and Sarah buy 4 tubs of ice cream because they can, Ella grabs several big bottles of soda and drops one, spilling it everywhere, Six appears at checkout with a rainbow pocket knife (don’t ask, she refused to put it away), and Sam somehow disappears and is found hours later in the Apple store down the road. Combined, everything they buy costs well over $2,000.

They get a huge turkey (though more than half the dishes are vegetarian for Eight), and everyone eats until they’re absolutely stuffed (”even more than that turkey” “eight shut up”). And then Marina brings out the dessert.

Eight practically squeals in delight, and somehow, they eat all of that too. Nobody can move for the next several hours, so they sit int he living room and watch movies.

Headcanon that Devektra's favorite Earth language is french and Sandor often walks around the penthouse calling her mon amour.

Imagine a movie night with the Garde.

Nine chooses the movie, and despite himself, he finds himself choosing a James Bond movie in honour of Sandor. He leaves halfway through the movie, because he finds himself thinking too much of Sandor.

Eight wraps his arm around Marina and falls asleep on her shoulder before the third scene.

Marina hummed the theme every time they started a new Bond movie just to annoy Six.

Six knocked Five off the couch when he dozed off on her shoulder

Five didn’t even care and kept sleeping directly on top of Ella’s leg.

Four kissed Sarah every chance he got until Ella threw a pillow at him and told them to get a room.

Three tickled Two until she kicked him away yelling at him for interrupting her movie

And One spent the entire time trying to distract Adam from the movie… Unsuccessfully.

Headcanon Nine is a slight kleptomaniac. He used to steal cars as a kids but now instead he just settles for stealing food from friends and guns from dead Mogadorians Solidiers.

Headcanon Ella is actually taller than Marina as Marina is extremely short.

Headcanon Ella is actually extremely intelligent and can answer any math question in seconds, even though Ella hates math.

Headcanon Ella is slightly claustrophobic but Nine is so claustrophobic that Ella has to calm him down when the two of them are in tight spaces.
