LGBTQ........? I'm a 13 year old gir who has lots of questions. I love and respect everyone but would like some clarification on all of these terms.

I understand LGBTQ but not sure how other terms like non binary, asexual, pan etc come into the mix and how do you know what you are? I'm a 13 year old girl, if I find a female actress cute that doesn't necessarily mean I'm a lesbian! Im young I'm not really into anyone at this age but see myself with a guy when I'm older. someone said that I was asexual because of that! Is that true? how does all this work? I'm also not a girly girl, I've always been more of a Tom boy and someone said I was non binary because of that! What? So confused 😐

This picture is what really inspired me this year! People say I should love my self the way I am, accept my self the way I am, all about body positivit!!! I get it! But I was not ok, I was NOT comfortable in my own body, my clothes didn't fit, I got tired really easy, I was depressed, I didn't want to do anything, I didn't want to go swimming, people called me fat or pregnant! I decided with the help of my doctor and foster mom to change that! I started walking and riding my bike, I ate healthier, my foster mom makes low carb meals that fill me up with protein and veggies. I've lost 17 lbs in a few months. I feel ssoooo soooo much better. I have more energy. My clothes fit better. I bought swim shorts and no longer hide my body in oversized clothes! I don't want to put anyone down, I want to encourage anyone that isn't ok with their body to take the step to be healthier and better for YOURSELF!!

Omg!! I'm so excited 😆 my foster mom and I started walking everyday and eating a low carb diet and I have lost 12pounds since. Omg! My old clothes fits me so much better, I start school on Monday and I feel so much better about myself. I now know that I have to stay active and eat healthy. my doctor said as long as I was safe about it I could lose another 5 and be fine!!!!! Even my mean neighbo said I was looking better!

Small steps. I have bad anxiety about going back to school.

Small steps. I eat to much and gained a lot of weight. I'm slowly getting back on track and losing weight.

Small steps. I miss my mom and sister everyday and still cry a lot. I felt like it was my fault they died.

My foster mom said she’d help me lose weight. We started waking daily and now I can walk 3 miles. I drink more water and eat a lower carb diet. I’ve lost 8 pounds and my clothes is starting to fit better. I have a long way to go, it I’ve learned that I need to take my time, I can’t rush into this. But I’m so excited that I actually lost weight. I’m worried though because I may have to change foster homes. I don’t want to. I’ve had so many changes in my life, losing my mom and sister and I feel like this is home now. I’m stressing out again!

ED Habits

- Drink a glass of water as soon as you wake up

- Drink herbal tea on an empty stomach early in the morning

- Take a shot of Apple Cider Vinegar with water every morning

- Go for a walk every morning

- Increase your daily steps

- Walk around when chatting on the phone

- Hand wash your car instead of going through a car wash

- Try not to stop moving

- Drink water just before every meal

- If you are sitting, get up and walk around ever 30 minutes

- Walk to work/school if possible

- Plan what you are going to eat

- Get used to declining food from other people

- Remind yourself that this is what you want

- Brush your teeth right after dinner to prevent late-night snacking

- Have an ice bath/shower every day - BUT be safe about it!

- Brush your teeth after every meal

- If you are stressed or upset, work out - It will become a coping mechanism

- Have a cup of ginger or green tea every night

- Make to-do lists ever morning to keep yourself motivated and busy

- Clean whenever you can. It burns calories, keeps your mind off food, and is really good for your mental state

- Workout while watching tv. After a while you’ll feel the urge to work out whenever the tv is on.

- Go to bed earlier so you have less time to snack

- Take measurements once a week

I'm posting these things as a coping mechanism, getting rid of all the negativity in my head, trying to heal, but I hope someone like me, other teens take something from it, from my experience!

I was a moody hormonal teen, I still am and will be for a while. but finding a way to deal with it is important. It's hard to be nice when you feel like crap but takin it out on others or being mean to others because youre in a bad mood is not ok. I regret how bad I was, my mom was just trying to be the best mom she could, she was patient, loving, caring, but I didnt bother to see it that way, I was always annoyed by every and now she's gone. My sister is gone.

I understand this now. This was one of the reasons I was in trouble the days before my mom died. She found out someone was texting me and found out my friend was actually an adult man who was pretending to be younger. He was texting other girls trying to meet them...and me. She said I should haven known better...which I should have...I did.. but it was nice to chat with someone and get that attention. He later got arrested. I know know that he was a bad guy and could have hurt me, raped me or kidnapped me. My mom took my phone away for a while, I wanted my phone back and she said no... I yelled at her and said mean things.. then she never came back 😩☹️!

I said some really mean things to my mom in the morning before she left to take my sister to school, I also told her I hated her. She left the house feeling that sadness and anger and died in a car accident that morning. She died feeling like I hated her! This still breaks me, I think of it all the time, I shouldn't have been an asshole moody teen because I was mad, she didn't deserve that.
