I keep thinking about Eridians and Rocky’s gem from Adrian and his celebration outfit.

The little stone rocky had from adrian was literally in his arm, and it made me think about Grace getting a stone like that from Rocky, which lead to me wondering if Grace could have it in his skin somehow. Earrings. Earrings would be perfect for this.

I was ALSO thinking about Rocky’s celebration outfit- who’s to say Grace can’t have something similar? Celebration jewellery for the local alien! Earrings that dangle and make pretty sounds when Grace moves.

"Edwin, though he didn’t much like to admit it, was rather enjoying the nineties. The rigid edges of propriety had been sanded off of London over the last seventy-six years, bringing a roughness to the public arena that fascinated him. Women wore trousers, for one thing, and not even proper trousers as that! They tore the linen at their knees on purpose, willfully destroying their own clothes for the sake of fashion. Men smoked cigarettes everywhere they went, only using pipes to take in mysterious substances other than tobacco. Every shop seemed to have been vandalized with colorful writing on the outside, and nobody seemed to be bothered by this in the slightest. It was a new world, unrefined and exhilarating.

And then. Also. Charles was there,

I've never in my life drawn out comics before, but because RoseGanymede95 dropped one of the most bangin fic series I have ever read in my life, I had to try experimenting 2 see if I'd like to draw out some of my favourite moments in their fics

Edwin Payne and Charles Rowland (University AU)

“Sorry,” Charles whispered.

“Mm,” Edwin mumbled, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes. He didn’t bother getting up. The bed was far too comfortable for such a disturbance. “How’s your mum?”

Charles shrugged. “Tired, sad. And I told her she could take my bed. Can I—?”

Edwin was already moving over before he could finish his sentence. Charles lifted the covers and shuffled under. He flopped onto his stomach, chin resting above Edwin’s shoulder and arm wrapped around his stomach, cozied right up to Edwin. His palm was warm where it rubbed back and forth on Edwin’s exposed midriff.

Tomorrow they had a lot to think about. Charles’ parents, the family home, the next meeting with Ms. Night. Edwin was bound to his own difficult conversation with Charles about Simon.

But that was tomorrow. And it wasn’t then just yet. So Edwin placed a light kiss to the curls across his forehead, curled up closer, and slept.

Alright, I'm back with my twenty sixth moodboard, this fantastic uni au by @losermothman! An excellent exploration of a queerplatonic relationship between Charles and Edwin and their bond with dealing with their own respective struggles during uni, from Charles' father to Edwin's complicated relationship with Simon. The writing was gorgeous and the relationships were so nuanced and interesting to explore!
