the go3 controversy defo deterred me from good omens as a whole. the fandom was a really supportive, safe, and inclusive space for me right after go2 aired, but now there's just a shit-ton of harrassment, sadness, and anger being tossed around like anything.

people have their own experiences and perspectives that shape their interpretation of go3. w that said, people are allowed to be distraught and furious at the finale as much as people are allowed to feel closure and comfort from the finale. where we should be drawing the line is when we start taking our feelings towards go3 out on each other.

would like to point out that i genuinely believe the go3 crew wanted to deliver a bittersweet, yet heartfelt closure to the fans. the fact that the project wasn't properly cancelled feels proof enough. it's just the execution that's gone a bit bonkers.

i haven't any right to talk about how people should treat their emotions, nor do ive any right to say how we should feel from the finale. just that we shouldnt be bloody hurting others because of the pain we feel.

it sucks to see how much this community's changed. bit like walking on eggshells, that.

Just to be clear.

I AM Pro Go3. I liked the finale and I can defend it and bring arguments to state why it is good and makes sense to me.

However, that doesn't stop me from sharing opinions with fans who didnt like it, think its weird or whatever, and I can hear and have the some similar opinions about details; things aren't always black and white. Because im Pro Go3 and try to spread positivity about it, doesnt mean im going to spit on every Anti-GO3-ers.

I'm capable of setting aside my own opinions to understand someone else's and build a nuanced discussion.

However, I do not accept and will NEVER tolerate (anon) asks, messages and comments insulting me personally or my opinions regarding the finale, writing deliberately harsh and attacking texts to try (in vain) to change my mind about it.

I'm open to discussion with people in the fandom because I love this fandom and I know we can be mature and adult. But I don't consider harassers/HARSH Anti-GO3 blogs worthy of being included in a fanbase that has always promoted understanding and working to build and maintain a healthy and safe environment for everyone.

I won't tolerate any hate, even if you think you're just "sharing opinions." My silence doesn't mean I admit I'm wrong, it means I refuse to waste energy into the void.

We can talk, it's ok if we don't share the same opinion and we can debate about it. But this will only work if we both accept that the other thinks differently, in the first place.

This blog is for anyone who needs positive vibes regarding the finale, and is also open to anyone who wants to discuss and share their opinions safely.
