This is an RP blog run by @thestarsarefalling017 featuring their Dandy's World OC Keel!

Please be patient if I haven't answered your ask yet! I usually answer in order they're sent, though sometimes I may wait to answer things in order of most story relevant.

This blog takes place post-shutdown only, as pre-shutdown Keel is stuck in the basement.

Character Info!

Keel is a scrapped Main Toon, and all episodes involving him have since become lost media.

Keel himself was only found post-shutdown during a run, and therefore, not much is known about him to the other toons.

He travels between the surface to talk to the others and get supplies, and his old hideout in the depths where he's more comfortable.

V2's head swivels to look Keel up and down as they search her database for any information on this unfamiliar Toon, only to find...nothing. Files on a pair of similar Toons, yes, but not even a mention of a moth. Odd.

”Oh! Hello there!” He waved, “I’m Keel! Keel- … Just Keel is fine! You could say I’m a bit new here.” He chuckled, “At least new to being up here out of the basement… Ah I’m getting distracted though! You are?”

"Pleased to meet you! I believe I have seen a poster or two in my supply runs. Nice to meet the face behind the name and picture." He nodded his head politely. "Well this is my first time up here on this floor. I'm not entirely sure how long I've been around... At least before those creatures started appearing in the basement too, so there's that I suppose! Hmm. I probably ought to figure out the exact timeline on that... I've just been content in my hideout all these years!" He chuckled warmly. "...Come to think of it, have you not seen the show? I know it's been a while since I was asked to do anything regarding productions, however I found some of my old posters so my work had to have aired at some point!"

...Well if he was ever in the show, there certainly isn't any record of it.

... If you were you had to have been wiped from my database! Thats strange, I didn't think any toon could be wiped from my database! Unless its- God, I can't even think up a scenario. Old posters- You should see Rodger or Brightney about something like that. Despite being a robot there are still quite a few things not in my database or censored in it.

He’s a bit surprised that the others have actually been able to go and clear a decently sized room for him. He figured it would’ve been just a new storage closet. And granted, it was far from a large room, but compared to his previous one, he would actually have room for a proper bed. Er- ‘bed’. Obviously that kind of furnishing was hard to come by, but he was content to do with some spare pillows and blanket! (Goodness they had a lot of these just lying around…)

And reorganization would be what he dedicated his morning to!

(They were walking back out into their shop, taking off a set of gloves and setting them aside. Their eyes catch the moth and they hop up onto their crate)

"Oh-! Hello!" He turned around, giving a friendly wave and wandering a little closer to the shop. His memories of the other toons are... rather fuzzy at best. He's sure he definitely recognizes this one from somewhere though.. Perhaps just the fact that their face seems to be all over the place?

"I can't say I've exactly been around. Apparently quite a few more years than I thought passed while I was down in my hideout! Can't tell you how nice it is to see not the entire place has gone into complete disrepair."

Where are my manners? There i go, jumping the gun again! I don't think we've met before! If we did apologies for my lack of proper memory. I'm Dandy! Nice to meet you! Though you might already know that from all the posters, cardboard cutouts, signs, merchandise- Safe to say i was a pretty big face 'round here.

“I’m quite alright, all things considered! Everyone I’ve met thus far has been rather concerned, but if I may speak for myself, I am quite stealthy when I’d like to be! Once I learned the patterns of the creatures down there, it wasn’t too hard to avoid them! I think the hardest part was simply keeping up on supplies.”

”Ah yes, I believe the others called them that! I won’t deny there were some close calls in the past, but I’m still standing, aren’t I? I’d be a pretty bad cryptozoologist if I didn’t know how to take precautions around the things I study! They can be quite dangerous. That aside- I’m simply trying to get my bearings until I can go back and get my things from the lower floors. I figure if I’m going to be moving up here now, it would only be polite to meet everyone else!”

I’ve been in the basement for quite a while so I honestly had no idea this place closed or anything but- Do you happen to know anything more about it?”

Well then! I'm not sure on every detail. Unless you're sending yourself on an ichor run, which i don't think is recommended yet. I think it'd be good to get used to this place!

Though, soon, you can participate in "runs" to gather ichor for a variety of things for this facility. You can ask toons for finer details like trinkets and achievements! Though, I think you're already one step ahead friend!

"Oh-! Hello!" He turned around, giving a friendly wave and wandering a little closer to the shop. His memories of the other toons are... rather fuzzy at best. He's sure he definitely recognizes this one from somewhere though.. Perhaps just the fact that their face seems to be all over the place?

"I can't say I've exactly been around. Apparently quite a few more years than I thought passed while I was down in my hideout! Can't tell you how nice it is to see not the entire place has gone into complete disrepair."

“I’m quite alright, all things considered! Everyone I’ve met thus far has been rather concerned, but if I may speak for myself, I am quite stealthy when I’d like to be! Once I learned the patterns of the creatures down there, it wasn’t too hard to avoid them! I think the hardest part was simply keeping up on supplies.”

”Ah yes, I believe the others called them that! I won’t deny there were some close calls in the past, but I’m still standing, aren’t I? I’d be a pretty bad cryptozoologist if I didn’t know how to take precautions around the things I study! They can be quite dangerous. That aside- I’m simply trying to get my bearings until I can go back and get my things from the lower floors. I figure if I’m going to be moving up here now, it would only be polite to meet everyone else!”

"You're the new one, yes? I heard you might need some assistance in moving your things up here."

"Oh? Well, yes! I made quite a little home for myself down there! I suppose it would make sense to move it up to a more safer location. I would appreciate the help, ma'am. There is quite a lot, even for such a small space..."

"Of course. I believe some of the others are planning to organize a run soon after a bit of a break to go down and gather what you need brought up with you."

He offered one of his many hands for a shake.

"Princilla. Just call me Prin though." She shook his hand, only as long as necessary to be polite before quickly holding one hand behind her back and moving to fix her glasses.

"In the meantime, I would recommend acquainting yourself with the others. I believe some of them are working on clearing out a new place for you to stay."
